  1. Is there an exact release date for the Snow White in Japan? I was looking around at Mandarake and nothing showed up just yet. Speaking of Metal Build and Mandarake. It seems like the prices for Metal Build toys went down quite a bit in the last couple of month. Like the MB Strike Freedom is now available for 35k JPY, The MB 00 Raiser for 25k JPY etc. Since I don't keep track of the prices in a spreadsheet I don't know for certain but it seems the prices are going down. Could it be that the ongoing pandemic and the following economic crash forced collectors in Japan to sell their toys?
  2. Sorry, my bad. BTW. Does anyone know what the deal is with FansToys preorders? They feel more and more like Metal Builds or DX Chogokin Valkyries and I‘m neck deep in two combiner sets from them. On top of that my Iceman from ShowZStore has shown no movement in the tracking for over a month. I don’t know if I want to deal with a third collection with impossible to get releases.
  3. I would prefer a bunch of rebel soldiers in their Endor camouflage gear. Now that I’m thinking about it, why not both; the Emperor and Vader and the rebels.
  4. Super disappointed that there is no OT Tie Interceptor based on the red Rebels set. Oh well maybe once the Rebels set is retired. Someone over at TFW mentioned that there are rumors about a new UCS Imperial Shuttle. If true I’m super excited. Hope it is gray and not white and has a rounded cockpit shape.
  5. Like many others I‘m currently watching Hamefura. If you haven’t I would give it a try. It is wholesome.
  6. Maybe Maverick is a remold of CW Silverbolt?
  7. I want a Galvatron in this line so badly. While I have fond feelings for the Universe (?) Deluxe tank, the TR one was super disappointing and probably the worst toy of the Trilogy: all the baggage of CW with none of what TR made great. I received my WfC Nemesis this week and he is a stellar toy.
  8. I had a Game Gear back in the 90s and it was impressive since I only had a Game Boy before that. What wasn't impressive was the weight, size and the hunger for batteries. So I would be up for a renewal Game Gear that was sleeker with longer battery life. I still have two Game Gear cartridges lying around somewhere (Columns and Halley Wars). Sadly the system itself broke some years back. However the limited game selection and the tiny form factor is a big no for me.
  9. I don’t know, collector mindset? I also have 4 sets of Joy Cons and I need really only one.
  10. Hot Rod or Rodimus? Good ones are DX9 Carry (G1 Rodimus) and MMCs Caledus (MTMTE Rodimus) The FT Hoodlum is soso (in other ways than the MP one is soso) For Bayverse there is DX9 La Hire and another one. From the reports I read the La Hire is the better option. Others I‘m not aware of. Flame Toys announced a MTMTE Rodimus kit and Kuro Kara Kuri toy both are licensed and non transformable.
  11. Bummer. I would totally buy a second SNES Classic Mini in a different color if it had other games on it though.
  12. It probably won’t match well. A lot of armor parts are color matched to the Optimus livery (i.e blue and red) in addition to the Bayverse flame pattern. Maybe if enough people buy the black one PE can be convinced to release a trailer for the Dark Warrior. I will certainly preorder mine this week.
  13. Thanks Mike, I checked my account and those notifications are disabled. I wo der if this is the default setting since I can’t remember tinkering with the settings.
  14. I will totally get the black one for my Nemesis collection. Bummer that he doesn’t come with the trailer. Oh well MaleToys never released a Godbomber trailer for their Nucleon Quest homage so I will live.
  15. Regarding the upvote feature I would like to add that the initial implementation allowed to downvote posts you dislike (also I think you could see who gave you a vote for what). That led to a series of unfortunate events (as you would imagine) where board members where bombarded with downvotes (mostly unjustified ). After that the system was changed so you don‘t even see who upvoted what. Even the post itself doesn’t show if it attracted any likes. It is only a number next to your account. This created a situation where giving and receiving upvotes is discouraged. If I’m wrong with the current implementation of the upvote system please let me know. But I don’t get any feedback if someone likes any of my posts. Of course it could be that I never received any likes for anything. [edit:] Oh, the likes show up in mobile view. Shows how much attention I pay those.
  16. Or Build Fighters. I love Build Fighters.
  17. Neat! I envy you anubis.
  18. Two remarks regarding Iceman. First I think the size works if you either pose it while fighting against other figures or you place them on a different shelf. Of course if you display all your robots in a single line in the same generic A stance like on the Holy Scale Chart it becomes a problem. And given all the comments on the TFW boards I assume that is what most of the collectors do. For me it is more important that they have different sizes to make a varied display. Can’t argue that he is too big though. The waist swivel being locked by the metal bar is just lazy engineering and the figure should have it. But I guess FT knows their fans well and they know they will buy it regardless. Also FT figures that kinda have a waist swivel that doesn’t work properly is not unheard of (Phoenix, Quietus and Goose come to mind). I assume that Iceman has it because the parts are reused from Goose design and FT thinks it is good enough for their fans.
  19. The Technic Lamborghini Sian was officially revealed: https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/lamborghini-sian-fkp-37-42115 From these pictures I like it much more. I have a few gift cards lying around for exactly that set (and the AT-AT) so hopefully I can visit stores again once the AT-AT is out.
  20. The new Figure King issue has an image of the underside of MPM Starscream: https://news.tfw2005.com/2020/05/28/figure-king-no-268-scans-masterpiece-mpm-10-starscream-mp-51-arcee-mp-39-spinout-netflixs-war-for-cybertron-earthrise-studio-series-cyberverse-god-neptune-411871 I need to check if the StudioSeries one didn‘t do it better.
  21. Well, it is essentially a large S.H.Figuartd toy with less accessories (especially hands) and lesser fit and finish (at least on my copy). If you are ok with that you won’t be disappointed. The thing is Bandai has the capability to produce an outstanding toy but for some reasons they didn’t. It is an ok but fun action figure with the GW license on top and thus more expensive than it should be.
