  1. That design is certainly different. It's not off putting enough for me to shut it out completely. It really does look like a marriage of the RX-78 and an EVA. I'm digging the way the head looks, but the name sucks though.
  2. Top Secret and The Kentucky Fried Movie still crack me up. They were probably the first Abrahams and Zucker movies I saw. And the capital of Nebraska is Lincoln.
  3. Mr. Abrahams died on Tuesday at 80 years old from leukemia. He was part of the trio that made parodies like the Naked Gun and Airplane movies. Thanks for all the belly laughs.
  4. TF Source's ad showed this variant: The red tinting is cool, and I imagine it would totally fit the character. Overall though, I prefer this deco over the plain black striped one from Initial D. Ooh boy, chase variants are going irk some people bad.
  5. I read this game was going to be in Capcom's beat 'em up collection from a couple of years ago, but nagging licensing issues prevented that. Damn shame cuz I still love playing it.
  6. Eat your heart out, Breakaway. I just placed a pre-order for MMC's Stray. I love my Ronin, but the alt mode for Stray looks quite good:
  7. Fo sho. I'd like to put it side by side with that 3rd party Sinanju from a while back.
  8. Of course it had to arrive right before the big Thanksgiving trip: Can't wait to open up this bad boy when I get back.
  9. Could we just call it the Peking Duck for now?
  10. FromJapan asked for my payment upfront, so I guessing the Sentinel store asked for payment upfront as well.
  11. Darn, no customization options.
  12. Same here. Ended up using a proxy service to place an order.
  13. It's glorious - please let one be in green.
  14. Love the helmet, and I would totally buy a jersey with "FOKKER" on the back.
  15. Yes, very impressive work. The Christopher Reeve head looks superb.
  16. I got it from this vendor on Ebay. There's also an option to get a head with no bangs. I'm hoping they will make heads for Cammy as well.
  17. I got real curious about the custom head kits out there and got one for Ms. Thunder Thighs: It's quite an improvement considering my stock head was sloppily finished - it was awful. I just had to super glue the hair buns in their sculpted recesses for completion. Fitment wise, the cavity for the neck ball joint was too deep, but the kit does come with bits of foam clay to fill the cavity for a good fit. I highly recomnend it if you get stuck with a crappily painted head like I did.
  18. If Wolverine and Black Panther can get their own official mech suits, the local City construction worker can get their own transforming dumper - nice work!
  19. FemShep is the only Shep. I guess it's a fair guess the author makes in suggesting the show will center on a whole new main character seeing as how every player has their own ideal Shep in appearance and demeanor.
  20. It was recently announced that Mass Effect has gotten the green light for production. I love the games (just the 1st three), but the production team mentioned in the article leads to me believe it'll be a toss-up if the show will be a hit.
  21. I always wondered why Phantasy Star IV was so damn expensive compared to other Genesis games upon its release. This podcast with Victor Ireland (Working Designs) gives a reason: Ireland wanted to publish the game, and Sega US did not want to, thinking RPGs are a bad idea. Sega Japan asks Sega US if PSIV is such a bad idea, then why does Working Designs want to publish it so badly? Sega US then releases the game and jacks up the price so high, thinking the price will tank the game, validating its anti-RPG stance. The game proceeds to sell out. A big thank you to Bernie Stolar (head of Sega US at the time) for allowing me to play one of the best 16 bit RPGs (albeit at an outrageous price).
  22. The last Transformers game I had fun with was Devastation. It's way overdue for another good TF game. Unfortunately, this one does not appear to be one:
  23. Incidentally, I just built this rendition of KITT courtesy of Jerry Builds Bricks. The KITT model that was included with Lego's Michael Knight minifigure was cute, but it needed a better ride: The design's solid, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a KITT to go with Michael.
