Yup, and it also was released under just plain "Windaria". While the tale of tragedy remains the same, there were several key differences in the original script that explained a lot of the "WTF?" moments in Macek's version. Yes, very much so. That theme song WAS pretty catchy though, eh? Ya know what really got on my nerves? Hearing "Konya Wa Hurricane" translated and sung in English. I appreciate all the work that was done to fully localize BGC, but MAN was that ever the suck.

Fo sho! I bet the original designer of the TH would get a kick out of seeing his creation in toy form, especially in 1/48 scale!

Man, I want see more pics of the Beagle bike. I'm thinking it would look great right next to the classic Gakken.

A couple of Macek-related releases come to mind (Windaria, Robotech the Movie), but of the ones you listed, Macron 1 was so hackneyed that it didn't even make sense when I was 9 yrs. old.

It sounds like the team did so much in a short amount of time, and being a FM fanboy myself, I would love to help out if I can, but I'm not really good with the hex-stuff. Regardless, I'll definitely be watching their progress.

The designer input is a nice touch, it's too bad more snippets of such trivia can't be included with all their releases. On a related note, I was able to pick up a Big Daddy-pretty cool fig. It's actually made me look back at all the other Cybertron molds I missed out on.

So are those Target exclusive figures different than the Premium figs? IIRC, the Premium figs don't have the baby blue highlights.

Yeah, the plain blue WRX is underwhelming. At one point I was really hoping Supras, NSXs, and Skylines would somehow make their way in the Binaltech line. I had the same trouble. Do the fenders seem off kilter? I had to push down hard on the shoulders when they had to be folded inwards until they were fully flat.

I'm wondering if the weathering is the same type used on the 1st edition of the Low-vis. That stuff didn't feel very pleasant and came off way too easy.

I think if I ran into a 1/24 scale Ingram toy without hearing of its news, I would've crapped my pants. Damn, that's a big Ingram.

Then again, Hasbro might have nothing to do with these new repaints. They are are part of the Binaltech line, and I'm willing to think that Alternators are pretty much dead in th U.S. Isn't TakaTomy releasing G1 Ironhide in Movie colors? This silver Meister just seems to be part of that trend over in Japan.

Damn, now that I've seen pics of black Incinerator, I dunno if I should still hunt down the domestic version. The head sculpt looks a whole better painted black, and even with the blue highlights, it still looks badass. I can't really say the same about the domestic version.

Excellent dry brushing up there! So it looks like most of All Spark Power figs are coming en masse. I've ran into a whole slew of Landmines, Evacs, and Voyager class repaints at two stores already. I was even able to pickup Cliffjumper, but still no Incinerator or Stockade.

It's too bad they couldn't just forego the red and white scheme and paint Powerglide in military green or give him some dark camo.
