.. for the 2D Capcom/SNK lovers 'Question!'
Valkyrie Hunter D replied to ruskiiVFaussie's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
1. Terry - My all time favorite; a powerhouse with awesome finishers. His combos finishing with the Power Dunk are always satisfying to watch. Besides, only Terry can make that totally 80's outfit look cool (I don't really dig his bomber jacket ensemble). 2. Chun Li - My "starter" in all my trios. Great speed, nice poke moves, and always fun to play when custom combos are enabled. 3. Sagat - FAST projectiles with a nice arsenal of anti-air moves, with good reach to boot. Many a battle was won with Sagat alone. -

This game looks dope, but I can't play it yet until I finish ACE2. BTW, does anyone know exactly what the cohesive story is between the two games? I can't seem to find anything that spells out the story. And just like Mike, I haven't run into any Macross mechs yet...

Great site A88! I was always curious about the KOR pilot episode and the unedited Windaria. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, though I'm not sure about the intake ramps. I wouldn't be able to get too close anyways since a couple of hornets flew out of it.

Korean made monster movie? Sure, I'll bite. It can't be any worse than than latest Godzilla movies-and my girl sure knows how I love those...

Hola! I wanted to share my pics from my first visit to Mc Clellan airfield (formerly AFB): http://s234.photobucket.com/albums/ee265/Valk_Hunter_D/ There are some real classics in there, but I was absolutely giddy to find everyone's favorite Cat way in the back. If you guys are ever around the Sacramento area in CA, drop by and meet some friendly museum curators who are really passionate about the planes they keep.

Gawd, that's a whole lotta Blade Runner, but I think I'm gonna have to splurge on the 5 disc set.

If CMs saw it fit to make the obscure Peacemaker, it'll just be a matter of time before the Zero makes an appearance. I just don't know if I should get two Peacemakers to give the Griffon some company. Hmmm, a die cast Zero. I wonder if CMs could still pull off the working lights considering a Zero has some real skinny lights compared to an Ingram.

Harmony Gold having troubles?
Valkyrie Hunter D replied to kamikaze_kamujin's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Mucho props to Yune for diffusing an otherwise flammatory situation. I can't say for sure I'd be able to keep my cool like that. -
Niiice, there's no way I'm gonna pass this one up. Is the Bud figure part of the deal or is it one of the randomly boxed figures?

I'll be first in line for a nice, hefty Griffon. I love the MG kits, but once painted, I can't really manhandle 'em with my grubby hands. I too would like to see CM's do a Peacemaker. Not only does it look killer, but it'd also give the Griffon something to mop the floor with.

Wow. I would love to see U.S. Armed Forces ads given the "power ranger" treatment...

Oh those old school video games...
Valkyrie Hunter D replied to Warmaker's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Mmm, good ol' Herzog. I had a hard time explaining to a newbie opponent why our own mechs couldn't harm the opposing home base...but nevertheless, it made for awesome battles. Seeing an absolute storm of SAMs making life hell for your opponent was sweet. Speaking of old great games, Shinobi 3 kicks much arse even today. Playing with zero shurikens made the game shine even more. Fighting the Guges look-alike mech with nothing but a sword is still a great gaming memory. -
Oh those old school video games...
Valkyrie Hunter D replied to Warmaker's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Yeah, two of three games Warmaker mentioned was brought to the U.S. by Renovation, and I would always look for what they were putting out. I only knew them as the game company that had dem kewl annie-may cutscenes. I think the last Renovation game I played was El Viento. Good times, Warmaker -

Wow, what's with the surge of new Patlabor toys in the pipe? Not that I'm complaining, I'm definitely getting all of them-heck just the fact the Griffon is getting a figure is enough to make the Patlabor fan in me squeal with glee. And finally Dangaioh gets some love.

Bubblegum Crisis Toys
Valkyrie Hunter D replied to the_foul_fowl's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I would stomp on a whole litter of baby penguins to get a hold of that Zillion toy. But yeah, my vote is still on BGC. CM's put out the Knight Sabers toy line, and aren't they a part of Yamato? So bring on the motoslave...all the boomers, Macky's hardsuit, the DD Battlemover, AD Police Fodder, the armed gyrocopters, and don't forget the huggable full body Linna pillow!- 881 replies

Transformer Starscream Masterpiece has arrived!
Valkyrie Hunter D replied to kentgh's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
This is why I cancelled my pre-order as soon as I saw the final colors. As much I dig the toy, I'm gonna wait for the cartoony version to come out. Seeing as how Takara can do so many variations on this mold, it'll only be a matter of time. -
First Look At Appleseed Sequel
Valkyrie Hunter D replied to bsu legato's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I liked the movie for the one big thing it offered that the comics never had-a friggin ending. A sequel with John Woo sounds interesting, hopefully he doesn't put in more scenes with doves flying off; that got old with me real fast. -
Yeah it does. Check this link out on how to find them. It sure helped me so I hope it will you. 402471[/snapback] I didn't even know there was an XB-70 in there-thanks for the link!
