If you're curious, you should look more into this law- is it federal or state? What are the specifics of the law? Don't get excited, get informed.

I've been playing Gwar's "Violence has Arrived" and "War Party" in my car for about 2 months now. Other favorites in heavy rotation lately are Lagwagon (my all time fave), Chixdiggit!, Snuff, Consumed, (old) Anthrax, (old) Metallica, De La Soul, Naked Raygun, Superchunk and Soul Coughing. The Intrepid is really cool, although it is a bit of a walk from WTC. Best to take the subway over towards Times Square and walk from there. If you have a chance, go to McSorley's bar on the lower east side. They have two kinds of beer, Light or Dark!!! Hey, I'm all willing to "educate" anyone who wants to listen. But does there have to be a dedicated thread here simply for RT.com people to gather while their site is down? No.

Somehow I doubt that RT.commies are going to swing by here now that RT.com is down for a bit. They've been well aware of MW for a while and simply don't like it here. Sure, we have a couple kids who swing for both teams, but not that many. The problem with this thread is that it serves no point. If someone comes over from RT.com and wants to discuss something, they're free to post in an exisiting thread or start their own if it doesn't exist. There is no reason why there should be a "general discussion" thread set up to cater to anyone's needs, regardless of which shut-down forum they hail from.

Remember that because there are only two Sith, doesn't mean that dark and/or disenfranchised Jedi aren't abound. The Sith are like an elite country club, even if you've got all of the qualifications to get in, they still might not have any room for new members.

I have mixed feelings. I think the character designs are simply terrible. Not to mention that the music for that trailer DOES NOT work well with the footage. It's like listening to a Britney Spears love song while watching the new SW trailer!!! Still, I love Dominion, so if the stories are written well and the pacing is good, I'll probably like it.

I'm not getting able to get on, and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I haven't gotten on in a while, but the settings I used to use are still stored in Rbrowser. Hokey... yes. Still cool, though. You have to remember that the original '76 poster needed to convey a sense of adventure, excitement and sexiness to lure in a crowd. The SE posters were designed to appeal to the same crown that was originally lured in, and now knows Star Wars left and right- Hence, it more accurately reflects the feel of the films. Or, more importantly, plays off of how the fans percieve the films to be.

Yeah, Sidious (if that's who the hoodie-guy is supposed to be) looks wrong. If it is Drew Struzan, he does do everything by hand, so the lens flare effect is perfectly acceptable. edit in: I have the movie poster for ep.I (which was done by Struzan), and I cannot find a comparable signature to the one on the ep.III poster. But that doesn't prove anything, really, as I cannot seem to find the sig at all on the ep.I poster.

For some reason it reminds me of when Mary Poppins shows up... Not bad. I'd say the pose is a little too wooden and lacks a lifelike quality. I would also aim for smoothing out the skin more, as it simply looks very blotchy in contrast to the clean, smooth texture of just about everything else. Keep up the good work, tiger!

AFAIK, there is no more Patlabor planned, althought he website Mechamaniac linked to does mention that there is a possibility of a series focusing on the two detectives from WXIII. The Patlabor Manga was only translated up to the second volume.
