  1. More stock at HLJ at 15,300 yen http://www.hlj.com/product/ban987064 Also, who has 2 thumbs, and is gonna cancel his overpriced YF-29 Ozma at NY @ 18,300? THIS GUY!!!!! Also, apparently HLJ is allowing multiples of this guy per customer (added to cart and it says max 10 per customers ....)
  2. I'm kinda glad I only got one of these. the VF-27 felt so difficult to transform (especially the chest and head), not to mention how some of the pieces just refuse to budge. Never had any problems like this with the other VFs, which was really weird. It's permanently sitting in fighter mode in my hanger bay now
  3. wrong thread? Also I thought MGS1 code was in the MGS anthology pack only.
  4. That's really all it has going for. And the fact that the colour scheme isn't the same horrible peppermint green as the RVF. Do you guys think they'll make some kind of super pack for this? I think it looks fine naked to be honest..
  5. at least it's not a dramatic hike above SRP. I get the feeling these will be easily found after release
  6. I guess I got lucky during the 1st round then. I have NEVER ever scored a Frontier Valk on Amiami on opening day... They should really up production of these.. too many of us are still sorely lacking a VF-25S, not to mention the YF-30
  7. Very happy to see many of you getting 1 on Amiami! If this is any indicator, I hope future Bandai Valks will be as easy to get.. gonna need some VF-25S reissues
  8. Was in the middle of work, and thought screw it, I might as well try my luck. Managed to score one on Amiami on my first try. Incidentally, this is the 1st time I ever got 1 on Amiami... Gonna get just one of this. Good luck to the rest of ya folks
  9. i was contemplating sitting this one out.... but now i dunno if I should jump in to get one.. I have too many Frontier Valks already haha
  10. I'm quite thankful for the fact that the VF-25s have been the easiest to transform in my entire Frontier collection. They're like the 2nd VF-1 to me now. Only issues I do fear are the loose joints they develop over time, especially if you mount the armor pack on them. They become to heavy on the back and require the stand to pose. the VF-27 v1.5 and the VF-171s are terrible though... probably gonna sell off the latter ones I have.
  11. this x 3. Need 1 for Super and 2 for Armored. Also, I'm probably one of the minority who doesn't like the tornado pack.. I think it looks a little ugly in Battoroid mode (all that stuff just hanging on the back).. That said, I did put in 1 for my spare naked VF-25F. Gonna leave it in Fighter mode
  12. i was one of those who was quite disappointed with the Macross Plus Blu-Ray's initial pricing, considering what they were giving. And even then I thought this bundle was a good deal (2 movies with SUBS! and other goodies), even though I hated the 1st movie. The 2nd movie more than made up for it though, and felt like a more decent ending than the series'.
  13. Jesus, 4! Though I'm one to talk for buying 4 VF-25Fs back during the reissue (though in hindsight I'm kinda glad I did, what with the new Tornado Parts)
  14. that display is sick! I wanted to get some chain bases myself for a different project (ThreeA's Metal Gear Rex), but the costs of getting so many can be a bit prohibitive. Wish I had the space to do diorama displays like these.
  15. and thus my 4th VF-25F purchase is justified... Probably skippong skipping the 25G version.
  16. Are you new to DX Chogokin releases? If a release is a web exclusive, it would mean we would not have to scramble to get one in the very limited time window the a typical DX Chogokin Valk takes to sell out. This is because Web Exclusives are made to order (they have a cut off date instead). Regular retail releases on the other hand tend to sell out very quickly (probably due in part to limited quantity for each retailer), so every time a preorder goes up, it's a mad rush to get even 1 order in. Thus constant F5s to refresh the order page. Those who don't make it, are usually resigned to the fate of paying a higher mark up price later through other channels like Nippon Yasan or the aftermarket
  17. ff95gj already said it's retail. Bummer, I know On the other hand, non-hero Valk, means we might stand a miniscule more chance of getting it I'll think about whether to get this or not... I'm running out of space to display my Valks and store their boxes...
  18. another F5 storm awaits us.. I'm not sure I'll be a part of it this time round... Well, looking on the bright side.. at least we won't have to shell out for the super parts... right guys?.... r-right?
  19. Has the YF-25 shown up anywhere in media before?
  20. Though it would be a shame if the YF-25 doesn't do well, and this causes Bandai to think MF is no longer popular, thus never giving us the VF-25S reissue hahahaa *takes off tin foil hat* No info on that yet other than it's slated for June 2014
  21. http://tamashii.jp/special/pickup/201406vzpcg/ Dammnit Bandai.. just give us the VF-25S reissue and YF-30 already
  22. Thanks for the advice. I'd like to think that, though I am of the opinion that Macross stuff don't really sell well around my neck of the woods. Anyway, I'll play it by ear as it goes. I'm preparing a whole list of stuff I need to sell off due to lack of space haha
  23. Well to be honest, I initially only wanted one (given the price). But since I had already paid off my Big in Japan order back in October? (they wanted up front payment), that kinda left room for me to acquire a 2nd one (especially since the price was good on HLJ). But would I really need a 2nd one? I suppose I could have 1 in Battoroid mode, and the other in Fighter mode. with all the weapons loadout. The big problem though, is I already have 2 YF-19s (I believe it's the v1s), so I probably have to sell those off first before I even consider the 2nd one... and this being bumped up to March just kinda put me on the fence haha
