    If the official Optimus isn't that good and I can't make it work, then at least there are other options that look really good. I've been listening to this song attempting to figure out which version of Optimus and Jazz I'm getting.

    They are really selling it with these pictures. Is it possible this is going to be a surprise large scale figure? That new valkyrie just surprised me by being 1/48. If this Optimus is going to be that big then maybe the price is justified.

    I want that hovertank. It can't get here soon enough. I had the original Matchbox toy and was always upset that it was only two modes.

    I clicked on this topic by accident. Now I might have something else to get. When I saw that image I thought isn't that Keith Courage in Alpha Zones? I started researching and sure enough it is. But the mech isn't the same color. Do you know if there is a good release with the version from the game?     I forgot all about this one. But with the Prime 1 statues, that's the focus now. The old version does seem better unless you just want a bigger version.

    Finally. But it should be the trilogy. But they are remaking Streets of Rage as well. Or making a new game. So it seems like they are finally getting around to something. Hopefully these will be good. The story posted somewhere is that Sega deleted or destroyed the program. But that should just make things more expensive than necessary because of their own incompetence.

    Me either but I still haven't watched the show yet. I assumed Voltron is alive or self aware? Wasn't the story of the original that they broke him up into the lions originally?

    I watched the first few episodes of 2040 for the first time. I didn't think it was that bad. Not as good as the original. It's different. The animation isn't the same quality. But Priss is still cool. The opening song is ok. Nene is funny. I'll get the series so I can watch the whole thing in better quality.

    I was going to post about this but with these guys working on both the Blade Runner anime and this, who knows which one will be first.

    I decided to wait and see what Prime 1 Studio does with Final Fantasy statues at the next Wonder Fest before getting Cloud and Fenrir. It looks cool but I'm still not crazy about those joints. Also I watched a review that mentioned something about slight difficultly getting him posed all the way on the bike and looking forward.

    This looks better than I expected. Perhaps I never noticed the scale originally and seeing those comparison pictures surprised me. I guess I'm really hoping they make this in a VF-1S Max DYRL battle damaged version now.

    Finally. Endor Leia has to be soon. They aren't going to make that poncho only for one figure. She depends on the movie for me. Endor Leia will probably be the top female Hot Toys figure with the helmeted and whatever they come up with for her without the helmet look.

    I found a dedicated Transformers forum and I've been watching a few youtube reviews and comparisons. Those stickers are pushing me towards Coolsville now. But is it easy to remove the modern factory stickers? I never really checked but I thought those Tampo stickers weren't like old fashioned stickers? Or do you put the replacements on top of the Tampos? Another thing is checking around Coolsville seems to be sold out. But I see a black version coming out soon so I hope that means a normal production is happening again.

    The statues for the King of Fighter characters look better than those figures. QMX is pretty good from what I've seen. Very close to Hot Toys quality. I have Kirk and will get the Captain's Chair eventually. Their Star Trek line slowed for some reason but it seems to have started up again. I tend not to like those reviewers that put figures under bright lights. There are a few others that do that. The Clipper King talked about it a few times. Here was his last big collection video I think before he slowed down.

    Thanks. I was looking at reviews and thoughts here on Jazz. It seems like all three versions have pros and cons. The official one should be a easy winner when and if they release him. When do they usually announce new Transformers? Is it just random like I happened to come across that new Optimus. Or are new Transformers shown at the Japanese shows like the other anime toys and figures? With Jazz, I think right now the best seems to be the one with the misspelled Martini. I wish they just went with a cartoon look and I would get that one. But I can't look past those silly tricks and using the logos with different spellings. I really don't like the back on Downbeat. It looks kind of sloppy. I thought the Transform and Rollout Hova version was perfect until I watched a review on youtube pointing out the brake cooling duct area and lack of diecast. Maybe I would still get that one though if I could catch a big ebay discount. I saw some Jazz reissues of the original figure. But with these new versions, I don't know if I want to go back to a simple reissued figure.

    I was planning on getting the Blu-ray for the holidays but I need to clear up some other stuff first. I want to be able to watch a few episodes a day.

    I was going to start a topic about this but seeing as the two directors are supposed to be also working on the next Ghost in the Shell, I assume this Blade Runner project is pretty far off.

    Me too. But the closest I've seen is a close up of Apple I think on a Tricharger with an animal in her shirt. I'm not sure as I haven't seen the episode yet.

    Many thanks for these! I was paging around last night and this morning going over the images. I'm surprised at what's out there. I'll have to keep checking this topic. I have a lot of decisions to make.

    I remember the days when I would check Budget Stark's youtube to see what new figures were at Hot Toys' Secret Base store. And look forward to ClipperKing's early reviews even if I wasn't buying a figure just to see it and for pose ideas. I'm pretty much down to a few figures I want now. Hot Toys needs to find a new or old franchise to get into. Or start releasing more second versions of figures now that their sculpting likeness is better. I saw they are taking orders on an updated Stormtrooper. They can make a better Reeve Superman, Predator Dutch, and Indiana Jones now. Make a Predator 2 Harrigan as well. Maybe a double Maria Conchita figure for both Predator 2 and Running Man.

    Only a battle damaged DYRL VF-1S Max version for me. Let's see if they make that. Or I'll have to go the custom route that you guys told me about years ago.

    Most of the original backgrounds I've come across are on paper. That's what I meant by matching backgrounds as I've seen cels with copy backgrounds. Both matching and not matching. Just setup so people can display a cel with a background. There are cases when I've seen backgrounds on cels due to whatever scene they are animating. There is this Roll Dangaio cel which I debate getting. I've never seen many Zillion cels. Although I haven't been looking for that long.

    Thanks guys. It's just the original Transformers cartoon for me. I never got into the comics, movies, or later series. I'll search that other topic for Jazz. I can't believe that a 3rd Party would be an option over an official toy. That new Optimus looks nice in the painted pictures. But I'm not an expert in the details. G1 Optimus was one of the toys that didn't survive when I went to school. Someone threw my good Transformers away.

    Anyone have or seen any good Zillion cels with matching backgrounds? There is a cel of Apple on auction this week I just saw.
