    Macross figures

Minmay is short. Recently I reevaluated my height and weight. I was taller when I was younger sadly according to my license. But 1/10 scale should be ok. She'll go in front of the Macross Complete box set and I think I have the Minmay Sings for You original CD somewhere.
  2. Oh I don't think I noticed that. What's the point of the downvote / like? This isn't youtube or Facebook. At least not that I know. Maybe I should read the forum rules. I hope they aren't attempting to sell member likes / profiles or anything.
  3. Sometimes even broken stuff is worth something. I think my original Jetfire was a damaged to the point where I didn't want it but I was able to sell him on ebay. For me, it's the good toys that I have nostalgia for that I'm upset were tossed. I did find one of my original SD veritech / valkyries. But only the armor for the rest. The majority of my large Transformers collection? Tossed. I'm talking all the original first G1 toys. Optimus, Megatron, the other purple gun guy, the bad jets and all. The big combiners like the Constructicons, the jet ones I like Superion, and that big one with the track going around. Dinobots, insecticons, etc. Tossed. Tabletop electronic games? Gone. Old videogame systems? I only found a Commodore 64 hard drive and I think an Odyssey in the furnace room. Same fate for stuff like the Ataris, Intellivision, Vetrex, and other older computers. I guess I was lucky to find old arcade tokens inside shoes and unused cups. That's nothing. I saw an episode of Hoarders with a guy that basically had a library in his house. The "corridors" were made up of stacks of books and magazines.
  4. Does anyone have a good replica of the Lion starter / badge key? The Voltron store made a limited flash drive some time ago that I missed. Also Toynami made one with their deluxe Voltron from some years ago. But you couldn't get that separately. I think those are the best two that I've seen.
  5. I've noticed these issues as well yesterday. I thought it was my browser but I guess not. Also I guess this "Community Reputation" thing is new. I don't think I saw it before. I guess that it works from just posts?
  6. Lucky you. I wish I was smarter about keeping old toys and had parents that were wiser about that sort of thing instead of throwing them away. Especially since they were the ones actually paying for the toys.

    Macross figures

If was another figure. Not related to Macross from a while ago. But they didn't even know what the figure was from. I told them it was from their foreign site and they told me to contact them.

    Macross figures

I remember trying to contact Bandai to get an exclusive in one of their US stores and they were terrible. Had zero clue about what to do. I don't know why they even have a US operation if they don't know what's going on. Hopefully HLJ will get her. I need a link to order, then I'll check some of the proxies. Not missing Minmay after finally getting the chance at a good figure.
  9. I love Voltron but the Gunbuster is the better toy. Only because robot form Voltron has the lion legs. That bothers me now because it's not like that in the anime. For some reason it didn't bother me that much as a kid. I guess because I just had a solid feeling Voltron. For me Gunbuster will be better until the hopeful Action line Voltron is released.
  10. The pre-order madness has hit. I think I remember even the official Voltron store had the American version of the toy. And of course so did Amazon and other US stores as it was distributed most likely by Diamond. I don't think this re-issue is Japan only. I don't see why it would be as since they are releasing a Vehicle Voltron, people will want the chance to get both of them displayed together.
  11. I believe I sold that game. I can't remember why. Maybe it reminded me of the first Toshinden game. Fun at the time. But I still had Street Fighter 2 Champion on a pedestal. What keyboard is that? Also a while back, someone here was interested in speakers for retro games. I was searching around and found a geeky youtube channel with audio reviews. The guy has anime girl figures and wallpaper all over the place. And a cat with a Star Wars name. But he understands audio. I think this Kef might be it. I thought they were way too much for games. But for 2 channel for all those old consoles and up to the CD systems and recent portables with quality music. I think they will be more than good. Of course you still might need a subwoofer. But I need to test play some games on them to be sure.
  12. There are always some slow times to visit Disney World. Going immediately probably isn't the best idea though.
  13. If Toynami can make multiple Voltrons and other toys. Plus have a higher end Cinemaquette line. Then they could have helped and take some risk with one toy I would assume. But since they didn't, that's pretty much why I don't buy Toynami stuff. Nothing that I want.
  14. I'll look into that Satellaview version. Never heard of that before. I thought people liked Adventure of Link back when it was released. I know I did. The music is really good. I still listen to it on occasion. I only remember sunsoft for NES Blaster Master and Batman. Two really good NES games with good music and gameplay. I have a Sophia the 3rd blueprint somewhere around here.

She looks better in that picture. Best Minmay figure so far probably already confirmed. Especially since I like Flashback so much. Probably the only better figure would be spacesuit Minmay from DYRL. As it's all about the songs. What are PF releases? Anyone but Nippon Yasan. I think there should be a few more resources to order her. Anyone who sees more news keep us posted as there isn't a listing for her on MFC yet.
  16. Yeah I get upset when I see Toynami put money into this but couldn't help get that Beagle Rook Cyclone out.
  17. Yeah those are rough looking figures for current time period. Those will only appeal to nostalgic people that want the figure in the card and that's it. I've seen a few re-releases of old figures like the Universal Monsters. But that stuff isn't for me.
  18. Arcade classics so I probably won't need this. The one retro collection or games I want that no one seems to want to make is a Legend of Zelda 1 and 2 remaster. Like they did with that Mario All Stars game.
  19. Thunder Force 6 isn't good? I still haven't picked that one up. Another mess up by Sega not bringing it out over here. I believe there are a handful of Japanese games that I still need to get. I heard of Mars Matrix. But I'm not big on vertical shooters.
  20. I still would like to see a Lion Voltron in the action line. I might even consider Vehicle Voltron in that line too. They need to pick up speed with it, I thought the next one would be announced by now.
  21. I'm waiting to see a modern Ramrod chogokin as well. As far as I know there is only the old transforming figure. He should be fairly easy to make compared to a lot of other transforming robots. I hope they make the Star Sheriffs vehicles as well.
  22. Not if you use UV plexiglass and keep them away from direct sunlight and other direct or harsh lighting.
  23. Thanks. It does sound like Thunder Force. I'll have to give it a play.
  24. That's a good win on a one of a kind cel. Taking the cel back to Japan too. I believe I saw a close up of Priss right after that scene at a convention once. I was too focused on finding Macross cels then and the dealer didn't have anything organized. 1992, wow that's a long time ago. Is it just the image or did you display that cel in sunlight or without UV protection glass? I've only seen a few group cels of all the Knight Sabers so that's still a good one to have. I think there were a few recent group cels from Crash episode 2 on ebay. I wasn't into cels back then. Didn't even know I could get Japanese cels. I probably saw a Disney store or other American cel gallery in a mall though. Do you remember any other cels he was selling back then? From Bubblegum Crisis or other series? Perhaps cels you recall from other dealers? Macross, Dirty Pair, etc. Old 80s stuff. I would like a Highway Star cel.
  25. I don't think I remember seeing this prototype. Body sculpt looks good. If she looks good I would get her. Any pictures of this company's previous Robotech figures? Also I hate it when companies promote stuff and disappear. We should know something about that hovertank by now.
