  1. OOPS! You already answered elsewhere. My bad. Thanks V. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=36316&st=210
  2. Ok, thanks. I hope I'm not being a pain. Which one would you recommend? Is their some significance to the polishing? Which you did you use? Why? I just don't want to purchase the wrong thing. Thank you again.
  3. Bump... Anyone? I have the first V2 VF-1J Hikaru (I bought option parts separately). Does the color match up better in the white or polished white? I have my finger on the "buy"button :-)
  4. That Vajra behind it looks pretty small.
  5. A Vajra is about the size of a Gundam, no? 1:60 isn't impossible I think... Just expensive. Regardless, I think this will be 1:72 to go with the Messiah kits.
  6. It's like asking what's canon in Robin Hood or the many long run comic book series. I tried wrapping my head around the whole Gundam series and nearly slipped into a coma. The cool thing about a meta series (I like that phrase) is that when inconsistencies crop up (as in Star Wars, Star Trek...) it's easier to just wave off. I would very much like a more defining SDF Macross (mini)series however, as long as the mecha doesn't change. Maybe Richard Bilrer can tell us the true story ;-)
  7. I thought I read you should keep the pins you have and insert them into the new hinges or use finishing nails (the kind you hammer the cardboard backing of furniture on with). Can someone tell me what the different is between the two versions of white these come in and has anyone tried the black ones? I intend on buying a pair just to have in case my Valk breaks and Shapeways discontinues them one dreadful day.
  8. Exactly what fighter does this go to? http://www.shapeways...ml/?material=62 And how can I get my hands on these hands without buying the whole valk? They should have added these in with the new Super-Strike Parts. http://www.mech9.com...08/img_8180.jpg
  9. Thank you ALL for your replies. I ordered a 1:100 G Unicorn RG for my kid so I'll soon have my hands on hands to try :-/ How did that work Swoosh?

    Macross 30

You can tell that how? The chair? The background displays?
  11. I apologize in advance if this comes across wrong but I never pictured half that team as Asian much less all of them. I adored the series and I'd love to see it as live action but... For instance, I picture Tiny (G-force) as someone like Seth Rogen. I'm just a Westerner. What do I know. If Macross went live action and Roy Fokker and Claudia Lasalle were Asian in blonde hair dye and black face I'd still foam at the mouth for it.
  12. Wow really!? Like Harmony Gold came up with the name. With the passing of Carl Macek (rip) how much longer will Macross be shackled to them? I want a well made English dub of M7 and MF here in the US so bad it hurts. Heck I even considered learning Japanese but I don't think I have gray matter to spare. Why not use a fast pack... Or were they introduced later? I don't remember.
  13. No spoilers here but the rework of Minmay's fall rocked! I so need a Macross live action movie or a re-animation of SDF.
  14. 1:60 Gundam hands are too big for 1:60 VF-1s. Has any tried to fit 1:100 scale articulated Gundam hands on those valks. The pre-posed Mickey Mouse hands look horrible. I want better hands for mine. Suggestions?
  15. If I had the money to spare on another VF-1, yes. But isn't the unpainted kit supposed to fill that need for odd paint jobs? I'm actually surprised the Cavilier version needed to be made. And not to change the subject but does anyone think we'll get a Mass Production VF-25 or even an kit version because that would ROCK!
  16. It'll be crazy if they make it over here in the US as Robotech Veritechs in my local hobby store, FYE or comic book shop. My kids will want them (the brats already have the Toynami 1/100 line). I get envious when I see Gundams at Hobby Town USA.
  17. On the left, Rent. On the right, Car Note!
  18. Theory time! When that Meltrandi dies and it flashes on DYRL I assumed that was a "man down" indicator. Maybe those are command and control nodes that Protoculture knew how to access? Something to help ID units on the battlefield? Back in the 80's maybe that was the designer's idea of a Wi-Fi hotspot or communicator.
  19. Firstly, nice avatar Wasabi-san. Now... I wonder if instead of lengthening the limbs could you have added joints instead? Fantastic job regardless! This stuff makes me want to buy a 3D printer.
  20. I'm not responding with any helpful info accept to say I know your pain. I just got that Maylasian copy you find on eBay and if this reply was one of the subtitles it would say... Not talking back. Helpfulness is pain. I have now the duplication Malaysian in eBay kind also the many names would say...
