I so agree! But I'll add that if abbreviating the series like they did for False Songtress & Wings makes this more possible (4-ish hours?) I'd accept that too. However I would like some reconciliation between the look of SDF and that of DYRL (I noticed in this Pachinko version they pointed the Zentraedi ears!.. that's what I'm talking about!). Also some of the Macross: The First ideas are good too like the retooled Minmay falling scene. Sorry if I'm off subject but this is the first time I've seen a discussion on the subject. -

I hate to ostracize myself but I never did like VF-4. Now that I see the Battroid I like it less. It just looks like a step back from the VF-1, not forward. What I do hope is that it is successful enough to warrant restocking of other missed items. I can't believe 1:60 v2 VF-25's are hitting the $600 mark on Ebay! I want to see how much the VF-4 goes for on Ebay in a few weeks.

I just started watching M7 (I'm on ep. 23 now... I call anything after ep. 14 "the good part"). All I hear in my head now as I drive is Planet Dance! Planet Dance!! Planet Dance!!! As it says here you really have to love Macross to enjoy it. I am I hate the thought of Basara silenced. Best wishes Mr Fukuyama!

You know if Ray Harryhausen could have gotten his hands on models like these maybe we'd have had a Macross or Clash of the Titans Bionoids live action movie in the late 80's and maybe a CGI remake by now. Mslz22, your next project must be a working time machine... 1:1 scale. (not instigating an HG rant here)

What I see when I add this "big" file is Meltran and Zentran fleet ships. Is that all there is at this time? Is there no UN Spacy faction? Did I do something wrong/miss something? Like the above poster, I love this game and the potential of this mod so please reply. Thanks!

Forgive this question but I couldn't find an answer elsewhere. Does anyone know (or heard) if the 1/60 Alto Messiah renewal will be re-released this year? I notice HLJ's stock on the 1:60 version 1 (with armor pack) is now "Low Stock". I'm hoping that if the old version runs out they might restock the renewal. Is that likely? I want to buy it but not for almost $400 on Ebay.

I've never done paper craft model building but maybe one of you guys have (or know someone up to a challenge). Has anyone considered making the parts from card stock so that the fold points lock into the Valk just like the plastic parts? From the pics the parts seem pretty flat and angular anyway. The chair wouldn't be possible but the sides and neck might.

I agree. I have 1 Valkyrie because that's all I can afford (my self bought anniversary present ). It's the VF-1J Hikaru (not super) and I bought it for $137 on Ebay. 2 MONTHS LATER the option parts versions were announced and I see them for less money. I'm ticked off because of that.

I have a trivia challenge... I was reviewing the first few SDF Macross episodes to figure out exactly how and when the ARMD-1 and 2 were destroyed and I discovered that the ARMD-2 was beaten to a pulp but never actually declared destroyed. ARMD-2 was damaged in the first wave before the SDF-1 takes off and just before docking with the SDF-1, Britai orders a barrage that takes out 3 ships, ARMD-1 and two Oberth class ships (Miranda and Akishima as I recall). Every source claims the ARMD-2 was destroyed but is it a solid fact stated in the story dialogue or animation or other source considered canon? Anyone?

I found these but they look different, and to me they look more like I remember the ribs (?) in the SDF series. (read the description).

I'm hoping with (noobish) overoptimism that perhaps they are testing the waters to gauge interest in lieu of a more ambitious SDF Macross releases. Honestly, I'd be happy if they even re-skinned Robotech: Battlecry and released it as a PS3 game.

Thanks for correcting me In my head Macross means SDF Macross. I really meant 'finally, an SDF Macross PS3 game!' I have DYRL (thanks to DHE's Eng Dub) so I hope I can buy the game alone.
