  1. The person previously posted about presumably pushed past his prolonged procrastination: Proudly presenting proof of proper pilots to print! 😁 A positively productive period, perhaps. ☺️
  2. As we've already established, that's a very difficult assertion to prove these days; in the case of Star Wars, however, there are some unique indicators that suggest otherwise. Like the Toy Story or Cars franchises, merchandise is the primary revenue stream for Star Wars. Streaming viewership, box-office receipts and even theme park attendance may fail to turn a profit, but as long as retail sales remain strong, the brand will remain a success overall. Any Star Wars collector can tell you how badly Disney has damaged the brand simply by acknowledging how little merchandise is being produced and sold these days, compared to the glut of product available in 2015 (and furthermore, how much of that product ends up in the clearance bins and discount stores). Marvel is suffering as well, but not nearly as badly as Star Wars; Hasbro has all-but given up on marketing toys to kids, and is instead focusing on selling directly to Star Wars collectors online instead. Major retailers aren't buying, an obvious indicator that the property is in fact losing stupendous amounts of dosh.
  3. You mean these?
  4. Actually, it is. Cap's not at fault here; he's just the one left holding the bag, by the same guy who's been stringing me along for weeks now. Unfortunately, we seem to be waiting on a chronic procrastinator. πŸ˜’
  5. Nothing removable on the top boosters, no... ...and before anyone else asks... ...neither Misa nor Minmay have removable tops, either. πŸ˜›
  6. Not a chance, no... There's no leg room. That's why the Yammie figures look like amputees. 😳 Yes, they're clearly designed that way.
  7. And a bonus Easter egg, for those of you playing at home: Mechanical details under the removable leg armor. 😎
  8. Minmay Mode? 😝 Surprisingly enough, the orange is much closer to the Yammie than to Bandai's own HMR... 😢 ...and more consistent in color tone, thankfully enough. ☺️ They seem to be on pretty firmly to me. πŸ€”
  9. What? You haven't seen the box?
  10. Three is enough for me, thanks. πŸ˜‰ I have some potentially bad news, however... For those who hadn't heard, the papercraft parachute/tent has to be cut from the instruction manual. 🀨
  11. Japanese model makers are known for their exceptional attention to detail... ...and their consistently poor English. 😝
  12. "Coming soon." "Look for it on digital." I guess they still don't have a release date for it. 🀨
  13. Would've been nice if his closing credit sequence included some actual credits. Like, who was the third-party stand-in for Megatron?
  14. Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson were responsible for Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and they're the credited writers for Brave New World... so if you liked the series, you can probably expect more of the same. πŸ‘
  15. The Black Hole (PG) was released in direct competition with Star Trek: The Motion Picture (G), and their respective MPAA ratings ensured that parents took their children to be bored by Star Trek, rather than frightened by The Black Hole. If Disney wanted revenge, Star Trek would therefore be the likely target. πŸ˜‰
  16. Oh yes, because we desperately need another. πŸ˜’ At least the HasLab version will have a unique cardback. ☺️
  17. Compared to Bandai's Metal Build line, perhaps... and maybe the weak yen means Β₯30,000 isn't as much as it used to be, but... it's still Β₯30,000. 🀨 Plus, it's too big to scale with any other IDW figures (official or otherwise). πŸ˜’
  18. I had exactly the same response to seeing Furiosa -- most of which is set in the open desert, for chrissake -- and yet, they felt the need to fake so much of it... A '60 Star Trek set would've looked more convincing (and at a fraction of the cost of this lousy CGI composite). It's an even bigger disappointment than Dial of Destiny, really, since Indiana Jones had already screwed the pooch with Kingdom of the Crystal Skull... whereas Fury Road had done so much for real. Who would've expected the sequel to look more like a video game than a film? πŸ˜’
  19. Looks like he didn't follow the instruction manual very closely... His missiles aren't facing the wrong direction. 😝
  20. The very best you're ever gonna get, most likely. Has everyone paid for shipping now?
  21. I remember that jetpack. Nice homage 😝
