  1. Snagged Qui-Gon at NY, none of the Star Wars Figuarts stuff is ever coming state side so I'll just get him there. Mk II is cool but from what I've read he'll be getting a US stand alone release, and a US release with a hall of armor, I'll wait for that, just grab him at BBTS with another hall piece. edit: And look at that, two minutes after I posted I noticed BBTS put their pre-orders up for stand alone Mk II and the bundle with the hall piece. http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=BAN17567&mode=retail
  2. From what I've read the initial production run of Switch consoles was smaller then the first production run for the Wii-U, so I certainly hope this is the case. Nintendo never creates enough hardware to meet initial demand, whether on accident or on purpose.
  3. FansToys offered this little add-on for Scoria. From what I've read this little clear smoked plastic add-on was pretty popular for the toy-centric people. Also, Soar comes with a clear plastic bit that can go over his beak, and Stomp and Grinder both have several areas with clear plastic over some nice little details. Only down side is the clear plastic on Soar, Stomp, and Grinder is not smoked like this Scoria accessory. Maybe if you're crafty enough you can modify the clear plastic into a more smoked looking shade.
  4. Saw it and loved it, though it was a great monster movie. This. Kong wasted no time getting front and center and causing some destruction. I look forward to King Kong v Godzilla.
  5. They look good together, and I'd honestly recommend Scoria, I think he's fine, but I can get waiting for Cesium. Are you just getting the grey toon versions or are you going X? I love my toon Dinos, they're beautiful pieces. ---Also, unfortunately, I read this about Cesium over on TFW2005. botfan said: ↑ Didn't dalianjj say April. This is March. Please, have a drink and relax. Click to expand... Yeah....but there's this.... King Nergil said: ↑ Well, I was so blown away by Grinder that I had to beg the man himself to give us any information about the status of Caesium. I bring bad news: "not sure the exact date now" So I guess the silence will go on for a while.... ... Not sure if I can handle it... Click to expand... ---So I guess he's still a bit off. He looks good to me, he just doesn't look improved enough to be a replacement, especially when my re-issue Scoria is fine, he is tight, tight, tight, no issues with hips or anything.
  6. I guess it depends on what you're looking for really like technoblue mentioned. I have all 5 of the toon colored grey plastic Dinos, that's how i like them, the X versions are a bit too blinged up for me. That said there's no denying the X versions are fairly impressive at certain angles, the extra paint goes a long way, it's just a bit too much for me what with all the chrome and gold already on the grey plastic toon versions. The X versions are getting harder to find, so I'd say make your choice quick because if you do want the X versions you'll probably need to track down a Soar and Scoria. Grinder doesn't even have an X version for pre-order yet so no worries there, Stomp and Sever should be easy finds though. The FansToys Dinos are excellent figures, VERY well made, detailed, and the transformations are fun and fairly simple. I'd recommend the regular versions if you want a more toon accurate look, X if you're willing to go all out and want the flashiest Dinos available.
  7. This. He looks like Andy Whitfield/Liam McIntyre from Spartacus on Starz. Not a bad look, definitely gladiator. Let's be real here though, it's Thor's movie but we're all going for Gladiator Hulk, I've been waiting for any part of Planet Hulk to get adapted to live action for quite some time now.
  8. I've been playing on the WiiU version for the last several days and I can confirm the frame rate is actually pretty steady. I didn't buy the Switch because all I wanted was BOTW, I wasn't going to blow $400+ to play a single game. Honestly, based on the Digital Foundry video I watched, the WiiU version actually has a more consistent frame rate then the Switch version when docked, which is odd. Draw distance is worse, graphics aren't anywhere near as crisp or detailed, and there's zero dynamic lighting and shadows, plus the physics on enemies are more toned down, almost canned. But if you're looking to just enjoy the game without buying a new expensive Zelda box, I'd just get the WiiU version, it works for me. I'll get a Switch eventually, when there's more games, but having a last gen WiiU version made the decision easy, I'll be waiting for now.
  9. This is expected but still welcome news, this show is great. I have to wonder, this show has to have what, 2 seasons left max? We seem to be nearing end game content as of today's episode. We're getting really close to the events of Rogue One at this point and we're seeing more and more familiar faces. Also on a small note, didn't Leia tell Tarkin Dantooine was the location of the Rebel base in ANH? I guess that's where they're heading now and they'll eventually have to be leaving for Yavin. Also, I'm pretty sure the VA for Mon Mothma was the same actress from Revenge of the Sith and Rogue One. Either way, awesome episode, and next week is looking like a doozy.
  10. I mean black boots and accessories on his black under shirt and pants.
  11. I saw that. Pretty lame that there was zero information on when the pre-order would even go up, and limited to 400 is really dumb, this was one of the more sought after variants from what I've been reading. Oh well, while the white is classic, the DX is MY Punisher. I NEED that trench coat, and black on black always looked better to me, the white is iconic, but not very subtle.
  12. Went ahead and pre-ordered and paid for my Exclusive Tyrant at NY, a bit pricey, but I love this design to death, far more then the Brocken or Saturn. That said, I pre-ordered those guys too .
  13. The DX release comes with the same holsters they're just in brown and not white.
  14. Mezco Punisher "classic" color went up for pre-order today, limited to 400, only sold on Mezco's site, sold out within 2 minutes. How stupid is that? it's a cool variant, I may have considered it, but just like that it's gone. Mezco didn't even announce WHEN it would go up for pre-order, it just kind of did and anyone lucky enough to notice snagged one. http://www.mezcotoyz.com/item/76352/one-12-collective-classic-punisher/1.html
  15. I'm pretty sure he means the DX version, unless he's waiting on Mezco to announce some other variant that hasn't been shown off yet. The DX version is the one I have on pre-order, and I NEED it.
  16. Ditto on being a bit baffled by that Wolverine, where the hell did the little shorts come from? Punisher and DD look great, my DD is paid off now I'm just waiting on a payment request for my Punisher DX. It seems Punisher is getting near universal appraise, Mezco done good on him, I picture him selling out and being one of the harder to get a hold of figures. My Green Arrow is paid off too, I'm a HUGE fan of the Emerald Archer, more so then Batman or any other DC hero, so I'm very excited for him. Arsenal is on pre-order, can't have Ollie without his partner.
  17. Not true, I paid for frakking EMS and my piece of crap is still sitting at Prep in Progress. It's been nearly a month at that status, this is bullshit.
  18. This. Even at his most exaggerated, and in the samples F_M provided, he's still pretty small by comic book standards. MCU may at times attempt to be grounded in realism, but it's still at its heart a very ridiculous comic book world, complete with norse aliens, super soldier serums, and alien-made anthropomorphic animal creatures. Should he have added a bit of muscle? Eh, maybe, not really necessary in my opinion. As mentioned skill and ability doesn't always translate to actual physicality and size, I think his body shape and build are pretty perfect for the absurdly fast martial artist. At the end of the day his hook is his powers, which aren't affected by his size or build, so the body thing doesn't bother me in the slightest. I'd even argue having him smaller lends more to realism, and the overall impact of his powers. Here's this relatively tiny guy that is lightning fast, and packs a punch that you absolutely wouldn't believe. Bulking up wouldn't help him much, his physical strength will never be as important as his raw skill, and his powers work either way. He's buff and exaggerated in comics because they're comics, EVERYONE needs to be bulked up and exaggerated to some silly degree. This is a real person now, having a toned six pack of abs will suffice for me. I think the contrast between Iron Fist and Luke Cage needs to be more prevalent in live action, having him smaller will look better next to Luke Cage, who can't be absurd comic book large, just real world large.
  19. I'm not understanding, is everyone new to Iron Fist? He's never been large and physically intimidating like his better half Luke Cage, his fighting skills and powers make him more then formidable enough.
  20. That Popeye is the stuff of nightmares, holy crap that's creepy.
  21. Loved the first one to death, can't wait for the sequel! Gypsy 2.0 looks awesome, and yes, much more anime inspired, which I'm fine with.
  22. Yes, finally, after all these years, the end to Genndy's greatest work. I have to say, this looks far more violent then I expected. I remember reading this last season would be amped up a bit, but damn, it's looking dark, and I like it. Such a shame about Mako Iwamatsu, such an incredible voice, Aku, Uncle Iroh, he was even a narrator way back on Dexter's Lab, may he RIP, he will be missed. I'm sure we'll see Aku in some form, and I'll be thinking of Mako as soon as he makes his appearance.
  23. This. Last year we had Deadpool, maybe next year Deadpool 2? Either way I'm loving this trend of getting a spectacularly awesome and violent film right at Valentines Day.
