    You're not alone, Mezco is catching a TON of heat for this release, and rightfully so. This thing came out of nowhere, no announcement, no word on when it would go up, and then it was up and gone. I only got one because my buddy Rex texted me at work when he noticed it, I spent 20 minutes on the site, crashing, credit card refusals, but I got my order in. Mezco REALLY needs some kind of management, or marketing shake up, they did this with the Classic Punisher and got grilled, so now they double down and do it on another highly sought after Punisher figure. The two per customer on these exclusives needs to drop to 1, how many scalpers snatched two, then contacted a friend and asked if they could ship toys to their location, then bought another two? Several times over I'd guess as well, IF they could get the orders in. This is getting pretty absurd, and I don't know how much good will Mezco has at this point, the artificial scarcity is bad enough, but now we are at beyond DX Valkyrie levels of PO nonsense. Also, they are doing some stupid crap with their social media right now. They are deleting and not allowing new posts on articles on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter regarding this figure. People flooded their social media with complaints, and then they just basically told them to "shup up". I love their figures, and I did get this Punisher, but I shouldn't feel like I won a small lottery because I was actually able to order a figure from them.

    Two more figures caught my eye, two more figures pre-ordered. It appears Mezco's site is crashing and a lot of pissed off folks might not get at this new Punisher. I DID! Also, Kong looks pretty great, and that price is very handsome.

    Wow, that Hygogg is frakking gorgeous, I always loved that mecha. We need some POs indeed, this line is churning out some fantastic figures, I love it. My question is, when are we going to see ANIME Zeong?

    I mean, we all get what Takara is going for, this thing WILL look like the cartoon in both modes, but like with MP-36 and what M'Kyuun mentioned, will it be panelgeddon all over again? It gets to the point where alt modes no longer look cohesive due to all the panels IMO, just look at the front of the truck, there's no denying there is obviously a lot going on there. The back hasn't been shown off at all, but I too can't shake the feeling a lot of mass and random panels and bits will get folded onto/into the back as cleanly as possible, which might not end up looking too clean for some people, like with MP-36. Bot mode takes precedent always, but some of these alt modes are suffering, MP-36 is another example, really solid bot mode, but the alt mode is the least cohesive and most panely and messy among even the third party options in gun mode, there's just too many small panels and bits that are necessary to achieve the look and transformation. Sunstreaker was a pretty fine balance, his transformation was certainly more involved, but I don't feel his alt mode suffered, I honestly feel his alt mode was at least as impressive as his bot, but MP-36 looks like a cut up mess in gun mode, and his torso in bot is a bit of a mess of panels and bits folded up on each other, at least from certain angles.

    Yup, I think most of their stuff is about a head above Figuarts figures, not much, but kind of noticeable at 6" from what I've seen in most reviews. D Amazing seems to buy just about everything 1/12 or 6", I'd check some of his reviews out, he also always compares Mafex and Figuarts when both take a crack at a character. The guy also gets stuff abnormally quickly, I DHL all my stuff from HLJ now, but he seems to get figures a day or so after their Japanese release.

    Paint looks a bit better indeed, and I like the slightly thinner Iron Spider legs, but I already have and really like my Figuarts version, and this is still a Mafex so easy pass.

    I don't think adding that single extra episode to Legion helped, I think it hurt it, 10 episodes would've been fine, I definitely found this season dragging more then season 1. On another note, The Terror is getting a second season! Odd to hear at first since the first season covered the book the series was based on, but apparently the series will be approached like Twilight Zone episodes, a new story, setting, and characters every season. Works for me, if AMC can put together something as detailed, and gripping as season 1 I am absolutely on board!

    Saw this and Incredibles 2 over the weekend, not bad, didn't hate it. Hybrid dinos are getting a bit ridiculous now, Indoraptor was a hybrid made from a hybrid, and there's nothing stopping a future movie from putting importance on Indoraptor DNA to create yet another unnecessary hybrid. Loved the use of practical effects more, and the overall dino variety was more interesting then I expected, Baryonyx and Carnotaurus were always two of my favorite carnivores growing up, good to see them get some movie love.

    Damn that sucks, Miles always gets the short end of the stick. I'll probably grab black suit Spidey then while I can, he still looks really good. I am VERY impressed with this set, the individual bots are AMAZING, and yes, very well articulated. I found myself removing Scavenger and Scrapper because I honestly really love their alt modes, these guys look great in alt mode! Nothing hits my nostalgia quite like a bunch of bright green and purple construction vehicles. I feel the set is a perfect blend of toon and toy, not too detailed and overly greebled, and not too plain, the alt modes just look so fantastic parked together! With most combiners folks don't really bother with alt or robot modes, combined mode is usually the point, and while the combined mode is indeed incredible, these individual bots are a lot of fun.

    That's a damn fine photo, this thing is insane combined, I'm baffled at the articulation on such a massive bot, I think this thing can do the Ironman landing pose!

    Nice, he looks pretty solid in D Amazing's review. I had a chance to grab the Miles Morales version a while back and didn't like a complete moron, it was the first released Mezco Spiderman so I didn't know if it would be any good or not, turns out it's a nice figure and I missed out on the version I really wanted in my collection. I totally forgot I got DX Joker in about a week ago, another damn fine release, I REALLY like the heads that came with this guy, two jackets/coats, Mezco done good with this one.

    I got two large packages in, one big private warehouse shipment from HLJ, and one big box from The Chosen Prime. Infinity War Figuarts are mostly great, Cap is pretty damn pathetic, no alternate yelling head, no shields, only two extra pairs of hands, stupid spear that was used for 30 seconds, Bandai seems to blatantly half ass it on at least one figure in every Figuarts line. Thanos is fantastic and I'd recommend him before he disappears, Spidey and Ironman are pretty slick too. I've been dying to get my hands on Toyworld Constructor, aka Masterpiece Devastator. This thing is a beast, I passed on the first G1 box set release and nearly immediately regretted it, I jumped on this second release as soon as it went up. With this, and three more MP Transformers on the way, I am DONE with MP Transformers, I've got season 1 Autobots and Decepticons complete, that was my main goal going in, and now I can say I'm finally done.

    Yeah Red Alert looks like an absolute must have, still not entirely sold on Sideswipe, but he's paid off along with Red Alert so he's going to be mine either way. I love how BadCube got one upped by Takara when it comes to Sunstreaker, then BadCube came back and one upped Takara's original Lambo, nicely done BadCube.

    Yeah I can see the back being a mess like MP-36, but most folks don't display their figures from behind so it will non issue for most. I just don't know if I care even if I like it enough to buy another expensive replacement figure. MP-10 is lacking in pretty much articulation only IMO, other then that I still love everything about him, I can care less about his legs having more kibble then they should. I have MakeToys Skywarp and Thundercracker on the way, I JUST got Toyworld Constructor/MP Devastator G1 box set in, and Xtransbots Toro/Cliffjumper will be on the way soon, with those figures, I will have reached my initial MP goal of every season 1 Con and Autobot in MP form. As I said, I just don't know if I will want to spend more money on another replacement figure.

    Wow, they want $300+ for this thing? That's Hot Toys pricing, but nearly guaranteed to be nowhere even near Hot Toys quality. They really are pricing themselves out for most folks aren't they? Every time I see a Play Arts that doesn't look completely awful, I see the price then remember why I don't bother with Play Arts any more.

    Understandable :). In this day and age, with so many companies making figures, there's zero reason to ever settle. It's a waiting game. Not a matter of if, but when, eventually a company will come along with something that suits your tastes. And with how expensive MPs are, official and third party, it makes sense to sit on the side line and wait for something new.

    I loved MP-12 at the time but that was long ago, BadCube SS looks like a fantastic upgrade, I'm just not buying more figures to swap out for figures I've already got at this point. In fact, I'm officially done with MP Transformers as of about two weeks ago, I have my last two MP Seekers from MakeToys on the way since I too hate MP-11 and thought it looked horrible for the asking price, I just got Toyworld MP Devastator in, and Xtransbots Cliffjumper will be shipping out in about a week or so. I'd recommend the MakeToys seekers, more toon accurate then I would like as well, the new more toon accurate aesthetic of MP Inferno and Megatron are pretty gross IMO, but they are still VASTLY superior to MP-11 other then that. Couple of shin vent and chest intake fan upgrades, and they have even more nice MP-11 like detail without being a crappy MP-11. I'd check some reviews for BadCube Sideswipe, you might like what you see, Kuma said he's working on a review and should have it out soon.

    MP-12 was fine for his time, remember he released way back in 2012. I'd say of the two, Sideswipe was the better executed, Red Alert was the half ass repaint from Sideswipe, even though there were far more differences in their designs to constitute not using Sideswipe as his base. Also, things weren't as nut huggingly accurate to the cartoon as they are now, MP-12 was Hasui, the design was more of a balance of toon, toy, and real world as opposed to the strictly toon accurate figures we get now. BadCube Sideswipe look EXACTLY how I would expect a Takara V2 Sideswipe to look, toon accuracy for days, smaller chest, FAR more articulation. His early reviews and in hand word of mouth have been overwhelmingly positive, only the most die hard Takara official only fan boys are denying that he has vast improvement over MP-12. Once again, I would love to pull some crap and put out a Photoshopped crappy, blurry image of BadCube Sideswipe and post it on the official speculation threads just to see how many hypocrites pop up and say Takara nailed it again! Only to let them know it is a dirty, unofficial third party figure, Takara is too busy making yet another god damned MP Prime.

    Faux chest parts were already confirmed on TFW2005, this pic is being torn apart on like 30-40 different threads on that site. I don't mind faux parts at all, using the real parts isn't always an option, and sometimes a downright physical impossibility, especially if you are trying to achieve a more toon accurate look, which never lends itself well to using the actual car parts when necessary, faux parts are ALWAYS the way to go for the toon look, which is all Takara is going for now so faux parts are here to stay. I didn't mind the fake chest on BadCube Sunsurge, they achieved the toon accurate look, then Takara fanboys declared Takara would NEVER use a fake chest, and then official Takara Sunstreaker had a fake chest EXACTLY like BadCube Sunsurge, pretty funny stuff. Honestly, the thought of the price scares me, MP-36 was expensive enough, coming with a new trailer I can only imagine this guy will somehow be even more expensive. As others have said, too early for me to judge, I need some real, color photos. Looking decent so far, but I really like MP-10, so Takara will really need to show something special to get me to consider trading out one expensive figure for an updated version AGAIN. Yes I had MP-1, and then MP-10, I'm really reluctant about buying a new MP Prime AGAIN.

    Wow such sad news :(. I read Kitchen Confidential in college when I had to start cooking for myself, great book, the guy was a very talented author as well. I loved his shows too, especially the later series where he wasn't quite as tethered by the networks and he really got to let loose. Incredible personality and he will be missed.

    Figuarts Falcon is up on NY, nabbed mine already. I'm sure Bluefin will get him, and BBTS and the like will have him, but he will be even more expensive due to having to come bundled with an accessory, so the stand alone from NY works for me. I think he looks really good, extra head is nice, I do wish he came with Redwing as an accessory, but Bandai gonna Bandai. edit: Actually, the price at BBTS and TCP aren't bad at all, about $10 over the price at NY and AE, but no pay up front. I can do that easy, that extra $10 would've been eaten up by NY's stupid overpriced shipping anyway.
