    Hi-Metal R

VF-2 back up on HLJ. Go! Go! Go! https://hlj.com/product/BANN17742
  2. I gotta throw my hat in for either Mightron or Despotron as well. MP-36 has a great silhouette, but I had to do a TON of customizing and painting to make him worthy of my shelf, he's toon accurate to a fault aesthetically in my opinion. MP-36 has this absurdly ugly "toon" accurate mis-drawn Decepticon logo on his chest, it's bad, and doesn't match a single other MP Con released to date, he can ONLY be displayed as a cartoon Megatron, there's zero other references in his design. Odd sounding I know, I own MP-36 as my MP Megs but I recommended third party, but that's only because I was willing to customize my MP-36 to not look like a derpy old cartoon, Despotron and Mightron look much better right out of the box in my opinion. Also, MP-36 has a FAR worse transformation then any 3P option, and I think his gun mode is the worst of the bunch as well, very broken up and panel-liney.
  3. I still have no idea why this movie is happening. It's not connected to the MCU, or Spidey from the MCU, so what exactly is the point? This is the same non-sense DC is doing with their stand-alone, "otherworld" or whatever DC films. All this time building a shared universe and now stand alone movies. So will a different non Tom Holland Spidey be in this? I mean there had to have been a Spider-Man at some point, otherwise the Symbiote wouldn't have become Venom. This is all sounding really dumb and pointless, I hope it falls through so we can stick with a cohesive continuity and universe. Plus I think Hardy is bad casting.
  4. That's just the regular, Takara Masterpiece MP-10 Optimus, my MPP-10 and MPP-10B are in storage, I only use them for alt/vehicle mode scale. MPP-10 would be roughly at the upper part of Omega's thigh though from what I remember of his bot mode height .
  5. I would HIGHLY recommend him, he's awesome. This is something Takara will never make themselves too, and FansToys is not always the best about re-releases, so I'd snatch him up while you can still find both parts easily.
  6. Sorry for the vertical photo, just used my phone and felt this was best due to his sheer height. He's pretty damn amazing, and quite sturdy for his size, he has little "locks" in his feet that can hold a basic standing pose fine, then you can click them out of place and get ankle rocker. His transformation only gets fiddly in the legs, folding them out into the longer parts of the track in his alt mode can take some time, you have to maneuver a bunch of plastic and ratchets through an open hangar you create in the side of the leg, it's kind of a mess. Other then that though, he's Masterpiece Omega alright.
  7. FINALLY! After receiving this absolute beast on Saturday thanks to TCP, who are the BEST in third party retail within the US, I got to crack open this holy grail I've been waiting on. MASTERPIECE OMEGA SUPREME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This thing is glorious! The only G1 figure I actually ever owned was this guy, so even if I didn't collect G1 MP, which I do, extensively, I probably would have gotten him anyway, he is a very special character and release for me. The figure is beautiful, over two feet tall, and he's exactly what I hoped for and wanted. THIS is something I am 100% certain Takara will never do, they may do a Titans, or POTP, or some other version, but an MP Omega? Never. This thing is nuts, and I'm glad to finally have my hands on him. Unfortunately I have a LOT of re-arranging to do, he doesn't fit anywhere while assembled, and his base mode is even bigger, so I need to figure some things out before I can fit him in with my other Autobots.
  8. I am seriously really enjoying The Orville, and I'm not a Star Trek fan at all in the slightest, I've literally never watched a single episode of any of the series, and I've only seen two of the JJ movies. Funny enough, I find Orville to be a better Star Trek show then Discovery, which is middling at best. If a parody/homage series is better then the real deal then you have a problem. edit: Also Orville wasn't what I expected at all, I'm sure myself and many others were thinking Family Guy Star Wars special, but no, Orville is quite literally just a big, expensive fan series/homage to Trek, with a few jokes here and there. Like I said, surprisingly good, and quite touching at times. Seth isn't just Peter Griffin in live action in this, he's a bit of a goof ball at times, but there is real character growth and he's slowly becoming a real Captain.
  9. Love the 19F, best 19 Yamato ever made. I have fond memories of when I had 3 of them .
  10. It happened, after getting him in Saturday evening due to TCP being the absolute BEST in third party retail within the US, I finally got to crack open this massive, absurd beast. Funny enough, even though I collect G1 MP exclusively, I only owned one single G1 toy, Omega Supreme. My older cousin got him from our grandma for his b-day way back in the day and rudely passed on him, you see he just turned 14, so he wasn't in to toys anymore. He got reamed and I got to go home with a beastly, old school Transformers toy. This release was special to me, even if I didn't collect G1 MP I feel I would have gotten it anyway. But I collect G1 MP, so I have literally dozens of other bots to re-arrange in order to fit this monster into my collection. Assembled, not exact, but he's about two feet tall.
  11. How many random, crappy spin-off X-Men shows are there? I've lost count at this point. I say crappy but Legion was actually pretty damn good, Gifted, not so much at all.
  12. Wow yeah, after seeing the trailer, I WHOLEHEARTEDLY disagree! This looks amazing, and like a ton of fun! The CG looks perfectly fine to me, and I'm not seeing anything Power Ranger like with the new drift suits, they look fine, no worse of more PR like then the first film's suits. The CG looks phenomenal, plus it's not hidden by rain and darkness, a big issue I had with the fist film. To each their own I guess, I can't wait, it looks way bigger and better then the first!
  13. I can't wait!!! I absolutely LOVED the first one, this one looks like it will be a ton of fun too. What looks like a kiddie show exactly? The new Jaeger designs?
  14. D Amazing reviewed Jim Lee, er, tiger stripe Mezco One:12 Wolverine. He still looks Jim Lee to me damnit!
  15. I am getting VERY excited for Howling Meteor. I don't own a single MP seeker, not official, or KO, I've been waiting on something more, something better, and this guy looks like it. Oddly enough, I blatantly HATE the toon direction the official MP line is going in, and HM is clearly more toon accurate then MP-11, but I still think he looks superior in pretty much every way. Early reviews are solid, either the nearly 100% toon look is your thing or it isn't. As I said, for me, it USUALLY isn't, but once again, this guy looks leaps and bounds better then MP-11, so I'm excited to finally get some MP seeker action.
  16. I'm admittedly not the biggest X-Men fan, at all really, so I can say I definitely can't see or tell the difference, that Mezco looks Jim Lee enough to me! I saw Hasbro is working on a 12" "Jim Lee" Wolverine, it looks pretty good, I don't like the massive scale or proportions at all, is that the figure everyone is excited for? Came home to a package after spending five hours waiting to donate blood today, very dark day today in Vegas, gonna be working lighter hours and helping out at some places throughout the week. Shitty people suck.
  17. He looks amazing. Mezco Web Store exclusive, he's long sold out, releasing this Christmas.
  18. Nintendo seemed to wise up this year, it was easy to get a SNES Classic, not like the Nintendo Classic last year. Fans Toys Phoenix is a MUST HAVE figure in my opinion, he's easily my figure of the year so far, he is a massive, perfect, G1 cartoon MP Skyfire. Mezco Deadpool is really awesome as well, highly recommended, any variant will do, there is also an X-Men colored version and a X Force version. I wanted this more classic Deadpool to go with my eventual Jim Lee Mezco Wolverine...
  19. Same here, I just need that sweet, sweet MK I announcement and I'm good on Figuarts Iron/Tony stuff. I'm certain MK IV will also get a Bluefin release with another Hall piece, but I bought enough stand alone Halls to make it to 6, so I'm grabbing this stand alone MK IV at NY. Very expensive month September was, I gave NY a ton of money for new POs, Kurogane Chogokin Big O, Figuarts MK IV, ANIME Gelgoog, Figuarts Maul Speeder, Side Labor Unit 3 Patlabor. These guys get a healthy chunk of every check I make.
  20. I have a bunch of different friends that are getting in on Fortnite specifically for this. I also read this morning that the creator, or somebody important having to do with PubG, cried to Epic claiming they were stealing the idea for Battle Royale from PubG, as if PubG invented it, or is original in any real way, which it is not. Very hilarious stuff. Not knocking PubG, it's great at what it does, but to claim they somehow originated battle royal, multi-player death match games, is ridiculous. Kind of a random suggestion, but if you're looking for co-op, me and several buddies are getting VERY much back into Killing Floor 2. Very excellent game, very fun 6 player co-op, and lots of mindless, but very accurate and smooth, horde base zombie killing FPS gameplay.
  21. If they did then that's a happy accident I guess, from what I've read, people that went with AmiAmi and HLJ absolutely did NOT get the BB when they ordered separately, but those places also had the clearly labeled bundle sets available. Did NY have the bundle campaign set on their site? If not then there's a chance even they didn't know about the promotion and felt obligated to give out BB units to people who ordered separately since Bandai really flubbed this whole campaign set deal, or, they felt the whole thing was stupid anyway and just gave out the BB to everybody who ordered both figures either way while supplies lasted. I'm not sure about CDJapan, if they have the bundles listed separately maybe you'll get your BBs, maybe not. Once again, Bandai really did a piss poor job with these BB campaign bundle set things.
  22. Early, early in the morning, it was about 6:30am Vegas time. I was still insanely, irrationally pissed that I missed out on the classic comic Punisher figure, so there was zero chance I was missing this sexy beast of a Wolverine figure. I'm glad Mezco got their crap together and were a little more up front this time about the PO for this guy, that Punisher debacle left a really bad taste in my mouth.
  23. If Bethesda can get Doom running at the same buttery smooth 60fps that it was on the PS4 and X1, then that will be an experience. Even with a resolution down-grade, playing that portable will be one hell of a time. I personally feel the new Doom was one of the best, tightest, most well made first person shooters in years, it was an incredible game, literally everything about it.
  24. Me too. And it looks like the PO is already down.
