What do you know, I'm bumping this thread again after another 7 years. I recently popped the Flashback disc into my PS3 and attempted to play the Flashback video, but my PS3 keeps giving me errors. The DYRL main disc played fine. I don't remember if I have I have ever tried the Flashback disc, does anybody have any idea why it won't play?

I can't believe this is coming out before Arcadia do the VT-1 re-issue (are they ever going to do it??). That is one hole in my 1/60 collection that I've been patiently waiting on. These DX valks are too big and too expensive to do a line-up for and I've only been getting the most prominent ones. I'm afraid this release will further dwindle the interest on the Arcadia VT-1 so it may never come.....

Thanks! I got those minifigs and soda machine from fellow MWF member EXO 10 years ago. I'm not remembering where he got the figures from in the first place but he painted it.

I was able to attend this back in July. It was my first CG concert. i thought it was good fun. Music choice was very good. The audience was very orderly and everyone (who had them) was diligently waving their glow sticks. I don't think singing along was allowed. I didn't have glow sticks but it seems like they were lending them out at some point. Regarding the Macross festival, I thought it was kinda small and didn't have too much to offer. I went at the second to last day of the festival and they were sold out of most goods already. I only played one of the mini games due to time constraint and my less than adequate Japanese comprehension skill. The acrylic stands look good, but only 3 were available. Regardless, I was happy to finally get to participate in a Macross event. Since my last visit to Japan in 2018, Macross seems to have dropped in popularity in Japan significantly. I mean, it's hard to find Macross goods outside of Bandai's current offerings in VF-31 chogokin and mini-VF25/31s. I got a few old CDs from Mandarake for dirt cheap (300-700 yen). Macross character figures are scarce everywhere. Mandarake in Nakano only had one Sheryl figure. I did score a Ranka Lee DX white & brownie banpresto figure (and the only Macross figure) for 500 yen in a random hole in a wall toy store in Karuizawa.

I see local state tax being added to my invoice. I guess tax free purchases really don't exist anymore.....first amazon US, then eBay, then amazon JP.

I've been out of the loop, what happened to the new macross series? I remember we used to have a thread about it, did it get canceled? Or did it turn out to be the second Delta movie?

Opened mine from CDJ and inspected it, Antenna intact. First impression on fighter mode only is that I like the Arcadia a lot more. The Arcadia just feels more solid, with a more premium surface finishing, and a superior feel overall. The Bandai feels like a toy, with lots of tampo printing, and perhaps due to mistransformation out of the box, connections feel loose. Not a close debate in my mind.

I really like the hangars that come with these. They’re very sturdy and feel good to build. I opened up the 102F also and like it just as much as the 101.

My old and extremely yellowed HM VF-1J finally found something to cover itself. While yellow still visible at least it looks menacing.

I don’t get it, Bandai is able to do perfect transformation with VF-31 and SV-262, which are much more complicated designs. Why would anyone doubt any different with the simple VF-1?

Just amazon jp. I was checking it every day for months. Price finally dipped right before it sold out. Woohoo! Another Legioss! ET’s title of arguably-best Legioss now seems to be temporary! Looks like Sentinel might have figured out how to fold the feet right finally? Hard to tell from the angle. And yay we’ll get yellow and fuke!

I had waited and waited and finally got the eta for like $160 before shipping few months ago and now it’s sold out everywhere. I’m glad I got it and love love love how it looks. Too bad I don’t think the red or green will ever drop that low as I imagine the run will be much lower and faster to sell out.

VT-1 is still available on HLJ, I wonder if it means it's really not popular! This blows the chance of ever seeing the 1/60 reissued.....

this came 4 weeks ago, finally got to take him out last night. It's a gorgeous piece.......the ARMDs are for sure much harder to get on compared to the Yamato version. Haven't put on the screw covers yet. Hoping to free the VF-31A, regult pack, and Big O full package from their brown boxes soon.
