  1. Basically grandfathered in somehow before people were willing to follow "rules"... This is the "Macross" toy section (actually anything within the OverTechnology Think Tank header should be exclusively Macross-only), so yes, technically it should reside within the Anime or Science Fiction threads....I believe other "Robotech" lines, such as KitzConcept were properly created within the "Non-Macross" threads.... The same could be said for other topics, such as the "look how much I spent in toys today" thread......should only be Macross acquisitions posted there, but it morphed into a free-for-all due to the lack of good moderating....
  2. They still have several cannon schemes I'd rather see them release....
  3. Nice... Any pics of the SDCC 2023 Exclusive Shogun VF-1S?
  4. From SDCC 2023....
  5. Seems the images are fairly easy to see and appreciate....
  6. It may be my unfamiliarity with Orguss in general...but the Takatoku still seems to hold its own against the modern toys....at least alot better than the Takatoku 1/55 VF-1 does against the most recent VF-1 releases...
  7. Can someone pose their HMR Orguss with a Bandai DX, Yamato 1/60, and/or KC VF-1? I want a poor excuse to buy an HMR Orgroid...
  8. Yeah, that's the dream....although I'd prefer Mikimoto's MtF designs
  9. yeah...they are also more compact than other magazine of the era
  10. Nice....They do have a pretty fair amount of screen grabs from the game animation.... I do have some other items from the Macross fever pachinko game...including the lineart used for the new character designs...
  11. Unless you have other things to add to your order to offset the delivery fees...May want to get this one on YJA....Amazon is charging more than twice the cost of the magazine itself to deliver it to the US....
  12. MacF comes second only to SDFM in terms of merch....it can probably be a lifetime search to get all of it
  13. Nice cover
  14. It does...but ultimately both the leg tab's position and the slot on the backpak where it slides in work together to determine the profile in fighter mode Not yet...hopefully very soon
  15. there is one now if you need one
  16. Yeah...I never thought of "time travel" being a Star Wars thing.....but then again, I never thought it would be an Indiana Jones thing either....as you have noted for Star Wars, "time travel" is one of the worst things they added to the Indiana Jones IP too... I guess "time travel" is hot right now!
  17. Assuming Ahsoka brings the concept of the world between worlds into live-action....imo, this is what will make or break the show....sure, it has been introduced in Rebels already, but let's face it....that show is mainly catering to the Star Wars hard-core fans...if the casual Star Wars fan or SW fans that don't pay attention to the "cartoons" can buy into this concept....I think Star Wars can finally move on from the Skywalker Saga into new uncharted concepts and storylines....if casual fans reject it as nonsense....it's back to the "whiteboard"....
  18. I see the grey now....I may want to get one....if anyone is going to attend, let me know if you can pick one one for me They basically are trying to re-create this as an old Shogun Warrior, which had those same missiles types....
  19. Not sure if there is a difference between SDCC edition and regular release? One will happen....the other won't?
  20. Sure it's satire...but odds are it may be closer to the truth than not....lol https://www.theonion.com/dc-studios-encourages-nation-to-just-imagine-next-slate-1850606590
  21. Yeah I know who posted what....the last line was not directly intended for you... Anyway, I would be interested in how you would spin Helen'as actions to somehow not contradict what she actually said onscreen...remember, you are the one that said folks are reading too much into things and you personally just go by what you actually see depicted onscreen... So why would she think taking Indy back, so as not to affect the future, be required when she is also leaving behind a WWII warplane and other future inventions like their parachute? Do us all a favor and explain why, without going beyond the script, that this was a good idea other than the script's logic demanded it...did the writers just forget about those details?
  22. I think I did that one with your DX fig...if I have a few minutes I'll redo using your HMR Again, the posing capabilities have come a log way from the 1/55 days....still much respect for the old school toys though!
  23. Fair enough, but in the context of the film....Helena knocked him out because she believed he was threatening the course of historical events by staying behind....but a 20th Century war machine is nothing to be concerned about? Recall, your arguments so far have been that if it is not overtly implicit in the film, we should not be making any assumptions....that said, all we can go by are her statements....in this case, she contradicts her own logic....by her own logic, leaving Indy behind or not would make no difference...both "things" don't belong in that point in time....but the script logic only allows her to drag Indy back... Go on now....spin this "Pitch Meeting" style for all the Nazi lovers (oh, and don't leave behind the Hindi child abusers and communists sympathizers)!
