  1. Did anyone order a Vermillion set from KC? I'm curious if the VF-1J is still a V 2.0 or the V 2.X with the relocated leg tabs?
  2. IMO...It's the metallic paint that is keeping this from being great... Knowing KC....wouldn't surprise me if they did another "Limited Edition"....this time using the clear plastic they utilize for their stands....their first stand was a clear stand in the color of antifreeze green....they definitely can pull off blue and red translucent VF-1As....would be an instabuy for me...
  3. LOL...you only message me on items you're not interested in....so I knew you were fully aware of this auction!
  4. So guessing it will be a deluxe "RDF"officer uniform Miriya to match the recently announced Max deluxe figure? It has to be better than this, right? Anway...PO'd!
  5. Technically, since March...but I won't post anything until I have items on-hand....... Well, I would consider trading it for something else I don't have.....

I collect very little outside of Macross, but since the Orgroid "sort-of" made it's debut in SDFM...I did buy the Hi-Spec when it was released....now I find myself wanting to get the HMR because of the retro box...LOL I did buy all of the Toynami "retro" box releases of their constantly rehashed 1/100 VF-1 toys....so there is precedent of me buying things I shouldn't....

Just noticed the design for the Orguss 40th logo...pretty clever

It was release under the Megahouse brand, which is owned by Bandai....so, from a certain point of view.... https://shop.bandai.com/megahouse

Bandai seems to reserve much of their retro love for the Orguss for whatever reason...they copied the retro fonts and other touches on the H-Spec release a few years ago...
  10. That's actually a great idea....the art, IMO, highlights the best work Mikimoto ever did for his Macross character designs....still favor it over his "revised" character designs for DYRL...I do like his most recent re-designs he created for Macross the First...hoping they get included in his "eventual" Macross Character Design Book, whihc is now too many years overdue.... I have a few of these card sets and the "re-issued" Healthy Wings Concert set from a few years ago....I was trying to find where I stashed it so I could try and see if there were any differences, but I must have hidden it in the archives really well...

They should have given at least one SDFM release the retro box look during the 40th too....missed opportunity....maybe Bandai did not want to be accused of copying Toynami...lol
  12. Macross poker cards....furoku....Animage July 1983
  13. You found the right thread....
  14. Now turn off the volume on the above video and turn up this one while he is swooshing around the lightsaber!
  15. yep...the deluxe format would probably work well for the enemy characters... But thinking a "soldier" would look too tall next to a 1/100 HMR VF-1....may actually scale better with their 1/72 VF-1 line...would be a good selling point too!
  16. Looks like someone wearing a DIY cosplay outfit....hope they can improve the "fit"....plus now we are getting a Hikaru deluxe fig? Did they abandon the regular figs? Still buying it....
  17. Macross pocket change holder....
  18. VF-11 MAXL.... It's time to expand the Sound Force lineup Arcadia!
  19. Another box from the Morinaga Choco-Corn Collection 1 Macross kit set.... The hunt for the rest of the boxes continues....
  20. I guess you could throw some money into it....
