    Raiders of the Lost Ark Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny My personal rationale for choosing KotCS over DoD was based on the finale.....the LC was the best send off, literally riding off into the sunset....but then they went and created KotCS, which IMO has a much better ending than DoD, now that both are out and can be compared.....to me DoD was just another play on the "taking the hero and detroying everything you ever thought would be an appropriate ending for him", think Luke Skywalker in TLJ....Sure, Indy and Marion are back, but they were also back at the end of KotCS with a "real" happy ending and a new addition to their reunited family (Mutt, wether you liked him or not)....but with the DoD, Indy is battered and more or less suicidal at the end, with Marion most likely only returning to him out of pity...plus poor Mutt Jones...seriously? WTF Lucasfilm!?

    The "Promo" pic for the "Shock and Awe" sale still shows the Max and Ben with the incorrect colors on the leg stabilizers.... I would be incredibly upset if I were to double dip on another vermillion set and received the same incorrectly tampo'd set.....maybe I can just ask KC to send me a corrected set of legs? Has anyone else jumped on this Vermillion set? Would like to confirm if KC is now shipping correctly tampo'd TV Max and Ben VF-1As...

    Just noticed that KC "fixed" the leg stabilizer colors for the VF-1A Max TV...can you post a pic of your VF-1A TV Ben?

    yeah...just saw that...that IS the shocking price....still, have decided to take a pass on these ultra-non-canon releases...looks good though...would have been tempted on an all black...or with some dark grey

    Yes, it is a V 2.X..........my hope was that they may have just been trying to sell off inventory on older stock of the V 2.0 VF-1J, but looks like they have actually manufactured new VF-1J "Rick Hunters"...it's too bad, the V 2.0 was the best mold they had released and it was only apparently used on the VF-1J Rick.... Looks like the only way to get a V 2.0 VF-1J Rick Hunter now is via the aftermarket.... And as you have found out...yes, the new position of leg tabs in the V 2.X ruins the fighter mode....has no affect to Gerwalk or battroid, but the fighter mode is "off" and it also causes problems with the Fast Pack attachment/fit.... Kitz Concept has more or less doubled-down on this change as an "improvement"...so most likely it is here to stay, until commonsense prevails....now that they have their own manufacturing facilities, it would be very easy for them to go back to the original leg mold...and hopefully concentrate on fixing the actual issues with their mold, which are the huuuge and blocky intakes....an area that looks like Three-Zero does not have an issue with.... Begun the 1/72 VF-1 PT Toy Wars have... But in all seriousness, many who already started collecting the KC VF-1's may not want to double-dip again into the 1/72 VF-1 pool.....KC also has a heck of a head start, in terms of all of the variants...canon and not....for me, I am hoping KC takes advantage of this and instead focuses on the non-VF-1 portion of the SDFM mechs and goes all in on the enemy mechs and Destroids, etc....so as not to go head to head with Three-Zero in what may end up being a superior VF-1 in 1/72....but for many who have stayed out of the 1/72 arena, the upcoming Three-Zero may be a good time to jump in...

    The AMC "loyalty" promo offers 5 dollar shows every Tuesday, even for new releases.....I opted to just pay for the matinee today....the movie wasn't that good...I think someone jokingly said that this movie had the potential to make Krystal Skull look good and I think it actually did! And that is saying ALOT! The movie was long and boring...moving from one dull chase scene to another until everyone somehow ends up just where they need to be at the climax of the movie.......nothing in the movie was ever over the top, like we are to expect from an Indiana Jones moview, not even one sigle scene, but I think that the filmakers were trying to do that on purpose to match Indy's age during this movie...but that isn't the Indy that was involved in any of the movies that are universally considered "Indy" movies.....and with that said...what's the point of making any more? To setup the next Indy? They tried that with the last one and it backfired...third times the charm? If so, then we may still have to endure one more... No one in this movie, not even Harrison Ford, deserved to return for any more Indiana Jones movies.....they essentially just showed up for the paycheck......there is a line in the movie where Helena says something like, "the only thing that she believes in is cash"....and that basically sums up this movie...a terrible cash grab at the expense of the complete tear down of yet another film hero that we never would have thought would have ended in such a depressing and pointless way....what former action hero have they left to screw with?

    Couldn't get past a few minutes....there is no way I'd waste precious park time sitting in that "show"....LOL

    Will definitely get it once a pre-order is announced...seems a bit beefier than the KC....the only gimmick I can see is the one they copied from the Bandai 1/72 transforming kit from several years back....the outward extending lower leg plate....not lineart accurate though....but may allow for some aggressive a-stance poses...

    I've seen all the Indy movies on the big screen, this one will be no different...I have a long weekend, I'll try and catch a matinee at some point this weekend..or maybe just wait for Tuesday's AMC 5 dollar show..... I'd say it's the end of an era, but I'm sure Disney will find a way to milk the franchise some more....maybe they need to make an all-new Indiana Jones ride at WDW to keep the IP in the public eye...

    Of the ones I have opened, they are all either in Battroid or Gerwalk...except for the V 2.0 VF-1J, which is in fighter mode....I can't "unsee" the odd placement of the V 2.X legs in fighter mode, but the figures look great in Gerwalk or Battroid....I guess 2 out of 3 modes will have to do...LOL Slimmer? Wonder what that means? It does not look any different....especially where the slimming down would be appreciated...the intakes! Maybe the demo is still using the V 2.X mold?
