  1. Yes, correct. It's been brought up a few time already in the thread
  2. Arcadia seems to be out of the VF-1 game for good...it has been out for a long while and more or less bowed out with a 1/60 that has remained at the top to this day.... I like the DX, but prefer a VF-1 that will be as close to in-scale with the rest of my Yamatos, Arcadia, and Bandais (and Evolution Toys?)....ever since Yamato introduced the 1/60 VF-1....it has been THE UNOFFICIAL MACROSS TOY SCALE for a majority of collectors of PT Macross VFs....many of us are fully invested in this scale, so naturally, if Three-Zero "plays and looks" good amongst the rest of the 1/60 VFs....then it deserves to become the newest and best 1/60....even if, like Macross HMRs, it is sold as unscaled....and unfortunately due to the HG licensing, even if it is just SDFM TV versions.... Hoping Three-Zero can pull off a win....
  3. And she is still rockin' those thermal underpants!
  4. the recent "shocking" price of 190 USD for 3 "complete" VF-1's wasn't cheap enough for you? The only reason why I may double dip on these "bare bone" re-packs is to get a correctly painted VF-1A "Ben" and "Max"...but they would need to be less than the recent "shocking" prices since I already have complete versions... I would actually be fine with bare bone Angel Bird releases since they technically do not need the missiles....
  5. The reason why I'm interested in these is because they potentially represent the "1/60-ish" evolution of the Yamato mold, that never got released, instead, we got Bandai'd with a DX VF-1 that doesn't come close to being in-scale with the rest of my "1/60" VF collection...crossing my fingers that the Three-Zero delivers...
  6. I hope the Destroids and Zentradi mechs are released as un-weathered....or at miminim a weathered separate release...
  7. Nice...as someone who does not collect the movies or kits...seeing the illustrations contained in this latest edition makes it a good buy....
  8. Looks like someone at Bandai is a KC fan...lol
  9. Yes....BW has forsaken SDFM to HG for the foreseeable forever.... DYRL may still hold some fool's hope...
  10. Hopefully KC releases a red and blue clear plastic special edition down the road...
  11. Update to TV canon Macross "in-scale" scheme counts... Bandai HMR vs KC 1/72 HMR: VF-1J TV VF-1A TV/DYRL combo VF-1D VF-1J Max (hybrid TV/DYRL) VF-1J Millia (hybrid TV/DYRL) VF-1A Max VF-1A "Ben" GBP-1J Hikaru Destroid Monster Destroid Defender Destroid Spartan Regult Regult Small Missile type Regult Large Missile type Glaug Future-Teased-Possible releases: Destroid Tomahawk Destroid Phalanx KC VF-1 1/72 line: VF-1J Hikaru VF-1S Hikaru VF-1S Roy VF-1A CF VF-1A Max VF-1A "Ben" VF-1J Max VF-1J Millia VF-1J Commander Future-Teased-Possible releases: VF-1A Arcade Max VF-1A Arcade Milia VF-1A Angelbirds Destroid Defender Destroid Tomahawk Destroid Phalanx Regult Glaug
  12. Speaking of collaborations...looks like Harmony Gold finally found some merch partners that may bring in some coin for them... The never-HG'ers are unusually silent...lol
  13. They both look pretty bad to me....however...this just means a high likelihood of Macross style GBP repaints...when/if KC ever gets around to releasing the GBP armor sets....
  14. Purchased tickets for Saturday....hoping for the best
  15. LOL....yeah it's awful... Looks like the unholy mix of a VF-1J and a VF-2SS....
  16. Thanks, PO placed... May grab a second if one gets listed for less or with some discount
  17. Pointless to get hung up on scale if other figures in the same line are not in-scale with each other anyway....it's basically "anime" scale IRL...if they look good together, like the HMR figs, that's all that really matters
  18. Just hoping they don't go BK before they can release it... 🤞
  19. KC shipped my special color Focker.... Guess I'm not quite done yet with KC VF-1s...
