    Anytime the SDF-1 gets 3D rendered someone invariably adds ridiculous, crater-ous panel lines that were never on the original.

    The 5000 does pretty much transform like the 11. I suppose more like a 11/19 hybrid really.

    Damn, I kinda wish I had bought two now. I want a second one in permanent Battroid because that head is wicked. I'm with you on that man, the canopy/crystals really needed to be a very subtle blue. Not... whatever bubblegum, cheap blue they managed to come up with.

    I'll have to see it in person but based on those review pictures I'd like the color to be a few shades darker.

    NY claims mine has shipped but a quick look at the FedEx website says "Shipment information sent to FedEx." Not exactly "shipped" by my definition.

    If you look at some of those other Battroid shots, the hips are pretty different. There's even some sort of metallic box that slides out from the hips. I wonder if Bandai has come up with a new way to work the hips, by force really, considering how funky Gerwalk is.

    Looking closer at the VF-X-3 design I kind of get the feeling Kazumi Fujita started off with that as the base for the SX. And looking at the lineart for both the XS and 2SS I do, very badly, wish Arcadia would make one. I think it has the same sort of cache the VF-4 does where a lot of people really love the fighter mode and would buy just for that even if the said animation it came from wasn't wide known or popular. I can't wait to see what you come up with Firefox.

    I don't stay up until 3 am hitting F5. I just pay a little extra at Nippon-Yasan. My sleep is worth more then some plastic thing.

    I read a description of one of the fight scenes and apparently they're going to be extremely visceral.

    That's too bad, I wanted it to be better than the first, which I didn't have nearly the same problems with as some others did.

    I think that XS is way more cool then the final 2SS design.

    You're fine dude, sarcasm doesn't always work via text. See, that's what I'm thinking. I had my CF in Gerwalk almost from the moment I took it out of the box and it was fine. Once I've put it back into fighter everything started to fall apart. I'm thinking that mode puts some excessive stress on the NUNS pieces.

    I see the head being divisive, which may limit it's appeal if people really like things in battroid but I figure the paint scheme would more than make up for that in the other two modes. A lot of people around here like the darker/low viz style.

    He got a lot of things wrong. If I ever had any time I'd do my own video review and compare ALL of the various versions. He seems okay with it but his video highlights quite well just how awful the ankles continue to be.

    For a self-professed massive fan of the YF-19 this guy doesn't really seem to know much about it at all. While the cockpit opening is a pain it's like he isn't even aware it's a split canopy on the YF-19.
