Experten Wonderfest 2014 Summer Exclusive 1/100 VF-11 MAXL

Are Northern European women known for larger breasts? I hadn't heard this before. -
Like I said, the ultimate blame goes to Kawamori for designing something that doesn't work with physics. However, I do have a question. Was this strain a problem on the V1's?

They're a B-Cup at best, dude. -
Bummer, was planning to have Michaels in Battroid and Alto's in Gerwalk... what to do now.

Those thruster intake covers are there for space use. They contain propellent for the boosters to work outside an atmosphere.

Experten Wonderfest 2014 Summer Exclusive 1/100 VF-11 MAXL

A lot of people have said that it wouldn't be possible to make the Maxl variant. I've never been a fan of Experten kits, this being no exception, but it does prove that you can get Fighter and Battroid to look pretty close to the animation without any real compromise. With a higher budget and better engineering likely you could get even closer to the animation. -
If the armor parts are heavier then that means the braces aren't necessarily a requirement. However, is that with the packs, or with all of the additional space fingers and giant suspended missile tubes attached as well?

You'd think so, but as these releases have been coming out they seem to be half-assing things more and more.

Is it heavier than the 25 Armor?

It's not light? You'd figure for such a giant add-on, and especially because most of the weight is toward the outside away from the attachment point, you'd want to try to make it as light as you possibly could. But I guess logic and Bandai don't go together, especially when you look at that dumb brace they came up with. In that last pic it looks like the wings do angle downward slightly.

I would agree... if there weren't a clip for Battroid. Yeah, yeah. Anyway, looking at the cockpit and the nose cone my potential modification night work. Not sure if the upper half of the body that fits over the cockpit is held down by that clip as well though.

Cool. But this thing would be effing expensive to reproduce...

Even if the final version were precisely that color of blue I wouldn't have a problem with it. It is a good shade of blue, accurate or not.

$466 for me. Two 30's plus FedEx.

I wonder how this is going to work for all of us who accidentally put the F and G packs on the same pre-order?

$131... shoot. That's a good price.

I haven't had time to take any pics yet but I have a few suggestions for Battroid and Gerwalk once I get the time.

Looking at the RVF-171, especially the Battroid mode at Mr March' site, it's quite obvious Bandai just completely got Battroid mode wrong in regards this release.

Robotech Academy - You want a new Robotech series...?

Wait, Avatar was socially relevant? I thought it sold based on being flashy 3D... and James Cameron's name.- 2025 replies

I still dislike the stubby Tie Fighter Panels.

But does it matter who invented the design? McQuarrie took it and refined it, and that appears to be what they're basing it all off of here. Johnson gets the nod for the original concept, McQuarrie gets the nod for the design being more appealing.

REALLY??? These things were made to order!!! I'm thinking I'll get double shafted. They're "holding" mine until the G parts arrive...

Actually, the only difference is the other Excalibur' have to open their bay doors in order to fire their missiles (like the YF-19) while the P (and I believe the Kai) have ports the missiles can fire out of without opening the bay doors (which they both can do too.) Actually, looking at the P it has stabilizers that are located on the bay door that the other Excalibur' don't. Likely the ports had to be added because the bay doors wouldn't be able to open in fighter mode as the stabilizer would hit the wings.

Based on the blurred out images I think it's the GBP Armor as well. If true I wonder if Arcadia might not have the SDFM license. Everything so far would be from DYRL.
