1/48 MOSPEADA LEGIOSS RESIN KIT: FINAL SHOT
derex3592 replied to captain america's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
If I had 3 Gakken's brand new in the box, I would have someone repaint and weather them and never look back! -
Can't wait to see this in 1:60 mounted along side the 19 & 21!!!

No....Quantum of Solace wasn't bad..it was absolutely horrid! Casino Royal and Skyfall on the other hand were, IMHO, two of the best Bonds ever put on film. :-)

I know it's the combaticons which together form Bruticus. I had the old school G1 set of this, and it was always one of my favs. -
Haven't received anything here yet. My wallet is fine with the wait this month.

Yes, stand pricing would be good, also, will you be offering to paint the stands or was the plan to sell them pre- painted? -

Well, it wasn't toooo bad. Two little parts took the brunt. Luckily it missed the larger primered parts. I got most of the little stuff unstuck in time with only minor ...melting..LOL. Anyways, I was trying to fix one of the tiny delicate laser canons or antennas that are on each side of the pod. 3 of the 4 were already snapped on the sprue out of the box, so I was using ProWeld to try and save them as I took them off the sprue. Anybody got any ideas on how to go about sanding or cutting off the tiny sprue nubs thst are left on the tiny laser cannon parts? I don't dare try to Xacto them off, I know they will snap. I tried a Tamiya sanding stick on a larger one and almost snapped it as well. The plastic is just so old and brittle..I'm kinda at a loss on how to clean up the parts. HELP!

That moment when you just successfully cut off all the tiny delicate pointy parts off the sprue and then knock over your bottle of Ambroid Pro-weld right onto all said tiny parts on your work pad at which point instantly starts melting the s*itty 30 year old plastic and bonding it to your work pad. Yeh. Well, I thought there was perhaps a hope in hell for this kit....now....it won't be as pretty as it might have been.

Ok, so this technically isn't part of my Macross collection, but this has kind of become my "catch all" place to display things that don't have a home anywhere else as all my display cabinets are filled to overflowing! The Robotech/Voltron stuff I had as a kid in 85ish and the DVD's were the last unedited versions, which I think are better, and the artwork on the cases and DVD's were from all 3 of the original Japenese shows and is absolutely gorgeous. The Aliens are crap toys because of the fantastically horrible ball joints. They look great, but don't buy them. Two broke right out of the package. The rest are all models I have built over the last couple of years.

While it's only 90 degrees outside at 9am, and not 107 like it will be later today ... I'll get some primering done on the scout pod!

Can you drill into the bases to add a metal rod for displaying a resin kit? If so, I'm totally in for at least 3 or 4. -

Ohhhhh......Brera needs an updated photo shoot from you!!! Such a sexy bird! -
The amount of detail on the Tornado Parts is really remarkable. Every time I look at them I see something new. They attach very solidily as well. You don't feel scared to pick it up and swoosh it around.

Thank you Saburo. Now I just need to find a cool backdrop to shoot against so I can upload pics as good as yours! I need to trim and add some "No Step" and other small stickers to this guy for some more detail, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Man, I really wish the 171 Cannon Fodder was a solid release, I don't have a 171, and really love that color! Ohh well....
