  1. Interesting information there. The best quality I've seen for the anime was on my Robotech Remastered DVD's which video wise are pretty good IMHO, and I'm a A/V production guy for a living. The re-edited sound effects drive me completely INSANE however. I'll prob never own the Blu-Ray's of Mospeada, but it does look like the color is better for sure! Thanks for the comparisons!
  2. This...and the King Crab and the Enforcer or whatever they called it in Mospeada are much more impressive and have real shelf presence! They are my hands down favorites. John does an absolutely wonderful job with the complex curves and lines of these mecha.
  3. WOW! That was impressive!!! ......not.... doesn't really make me want to spend my money.....
  4. Anyone seen this yet??? https://www.cnet.com/pictures/meet-the-stratolaunch-the-worlds-largest-airplane/?ftag=ACQ9265a8a&vndid=1860861253&nan_pid=1860861253&ad_id=6365968

  7. It's really to bad the CM guys and the Toynami guys couldn't have put their heads together for the Beta, both Betas had their good and bad points. This thread got me looking around at Mospeada pics on the net, say what you want, but Gakken still came pretty darn close all those tears ago, remember this custom blue one from a few years back? Also, some random Mospeada art...
  8. Saw this Friday night with the fiancé. We both really liked it. Good flick. Will definitely pick up the bluray.
  9. The only 1:18 car from F&F I ever really wanted was the orange modded targa top Supra from the first film...that car was sweet.
  10. There is a guy here somewhere over in the model threads building the KO Fan Racer, he says it's not very good at all. Lots of work to get it to look as good as the Yamato run. Just FYI. IMHO if "they" can't get a KO of a VERY simple injection molded plastic model kit right, how in the HELL would they get a 1/60 transforming Valk right? Yeh...I'm not wasting my money to find out....
  11. I feel you on that one..got a 1:18 BMW M6 Coupe last year for like $80 plus shipping and the back wheels don't turn. I'm like seriously???
  12. great job! Ozma would be proud!

  16. Perfectly said sir!
  17. I have the red, blue and green Alphas and they were very iffy QC, some are better than others, the hands crumbled very easily, and the bow in fighter mode annoys me as well as the upper and lower arms not locking in together in fighter mode. Still, I liked the overall look of it. The Betas were much better overall. I have the blue, red and green ones and have had no problems. Always kinda wanted the Shadow Alpha, but never got it, was the Shadow Beta ever actually released?
  18. same here. RIP caped crusader!
  19. awesome progress! and cool shirt!
