    I'll probably get torched along with you for this...but I 100% agree. Now I didn't grow up with Macross, I grew up with Robotech, but even now, I like the Robotech instrumental music much better than the Macross music. That being said, I do like a lot of the instrumental music in DYRL. Done much better in my opinion. As for Mospeada, well, it's just NOT that different of a show dialog wise whether you watch Robotech or Mospeada. Replace the word "HBT" with "Protoculture" and for all intents and purposes it's the same show. Music wise...honestly I would have to watch Mospeda again, I don't remember the music that well...

    I'm sorry...the lights are just.....all in the wrong spots!! The only ones that look cool and like they belong are the ones on the deck of the Prometheous. The paint work and weathering look nice, but again...the SDF-1 wasn't grey or silver!!! It was off white!!! It almost looks like someone who has watched to many Micheal Bay Transformers movies got a hold of the thing and just stuck..bits..all over it.

    It's to big....it's too expensive(probably).....it's weird looking....it has smoke???...whyyyy???? and they mentioned 200 lights, but then didn't show it lit up...FAIL. PAAAASSS---NEXT!

    uhhhh....it's been a while since I painted it...one of the Tamiya TS or AS light grey's....can't remember which one off the top of my head, decanted and airbrushed it.

    Great job so far. I did this many years ago when Yamato released the TV Roy VF-1S. Panel lined with Flory's, waterslide decals from a 1:72 Valk, some tiny silver paint tweaks on the landing gear and the gun barrels, and made my own "premium" version, once you get some practice in, it goes a lot quicker. It still sits in my display case and looks fantastic.
