    Ooops - forgot one thing. Not only is SW fantasy it wears it proudly. I just remembered Han, Leia, and Chewie going out into what they thought was vacuum with nothing but a face mask (and not a securely fastened one at that). Just nuts if they were in any universe even near like ours. The Black Hole did try to show gravity but messed it up royally. People were floating around with the engines firing at full power and Earnst Borgnine floating toward the top of the ship with the engines going full power gets funnier the more I see it. (Yeah, I brought The Black Hole into this...) EDIT - The other item I thought about is that SW has pretty good internal consistancy with it's physics. With a couple of major sticking points (hyperspace ramming for instance). So the Proton Torpedoes falling like there is Earth Gravity on the Death Star (which should be more like the moon's) is a natural outgrowth into those B wing things. I thought the first was WAY COOL (but I was 11) while the second was mind boggling dumb (but I was 50 something).

    Anything else is fantasy, not science fiction. Star Wars is Science Fantasy so it doesn't bother me. I freely admit to not reading the rest of your post since if I reject the very premise there is no point. I'll also jump off the merry go round here too.

    They way it shown happening on screen? NO it can not happen no matter how much thrust is coming out those engines. In space if you want to change direction you point you keester in the direction you want to go and then fire off the engines. Anything else is pure fantasy with no ifs ands or buts.

    The bombers were stupid - I'll give you that. But in a universe where fighters in space fly like they are in atmosphere - well they are not quite so stupid.

    When I looked it up and found six entries I was shocked. Although a number of them were TV movies - which is just where it belongs. As for this movie, I had forgotten Vin Diesel was still making movies to be honest.

    Watching a car coming to a stop - an Ed Wood masterpiece! The CGI still looks bad, when actually animated it looks fine though.

    Right this minute (8:30pm Florida time) Smugglers run has a 50 minute wait time and Slinky Dog has a 70 minute wait time. Wait time for the Cantina is not listed on my app - when I was there it did not look like it would be too long. For DW top tier rides that is reasonable.

    Just got back from DW. Stopped in Star Wars Land and the theming is impressive. Even with tourists walking around it really feels like you are in the Star Wars universe (perhaps in the middle of a tour group but still). I did not try to ride the Falcon ride (went on Slinky Dog instead - highly recommended). I would not recommend going JUST to go to GE since even when the main ride is ready that is still only two rides in the entire land but it is worth a walk through.

    Klingons - no not that the Klingons destroyed the ship. The ship may not be around for the same reason the Klingons were changed from TOS to the movies, namely that the budget (and CGI) now allows the show to update the ship designs and not be forced to use old models for budgetary reasons.

    Next season of The Expanse starts on December 13th. With Star Wars and Lost in Space also getting released December is looking like a great month for my SciFi fix! (even if Star Wars is only so so). Doe The Expanse have it's own thread? https://www.syfy.com/syfywire/the-expanse-nycc-2019

    And at least one of them is made and repaired by an Alien. I can't remember if the others were actually made by the aliens or not.

    I really like that the "Upside Down" get a prominent spot in the trailer. I miss it.

    I'll give it my non-stoner (never had any illegal substance and never got passed out drunk but have gotten tipsy). M7 is Too Long, Too Loud, and Too shallow.
