  1. TRON is like RT - till it actually gets on the screen it is pretty much a rumor.
  2. That looks dreadful and when the ad makes more of the music then the movie itself, well... (I sorta, kinda, maybe remember knowing this movie existed)
  3. I'll plop this here though the blurb says it is not necessarily Tron 3. All I know is that I am not a fan of Jared Leto but I only really remember his part in Blade Runner. https://www.syfy.com/syfywire/disney-tron-movie-jared-leto-garth-davis
  4. How things change from 2010 when this was posted - my blasted car jibber jabbers at me all the time now...
  5. If anybody thinks this show (and all the others) exists as anything other than feature lengths commercials for toys they are watching the wrong show. I tried watching the first five minutes and gave up. I never expect much from Transformers but even that was too much to ask. Bad writing, bad acting, and bad animation are too much to handle.
  6. That is what I was going to say but in my case it would be a partial lie. Sometimes they go beyond the Pale enough that I won't watch them in a movie. Usually I think they are crap actors anyway so it kinda works out.
  7. Bigger noses and nose hair - nearly spit on my TV with the Rapunzel inspired episode.
  8. I wish them luck - cause they are going to need it. I loved the original and it is the first show (only show) I remember a bunch of guys in suits at an airport talking about. Recreating the magic is not so easy however. https://www.syfy.com/syfywire/ren-stimpy-revival-series-comedy-central
  9. I don't know where you guys live but the cheapest theater option here is $10 but you get free lice with admission there. EDIT - Just read that the $30 is for permanent access to the film but you have to have Disney+
  10. Watched through episode 3 and none of feels like filler or that it is going slow - I do find modern action movies have far too little plot and characterization and way too much action these days so it could just be me.
  11. I'm not watching the movie but... $30 for a family of four to watch is not bad. That is $7.50 a "ticket". If it were a movie my wife and I wanted to see I would consider it even though that would amount to $15 a ticket (which is near what it costs at the theater and home popcorn and soda is a lot cheaper).
  12. And Cocoon. And it should be Wilford but I can't change it now.
  13. I did not see a mention of his passing here. Most notable here for his real in "The Thing" of course. He was pretty much everywhere for a decade or so.
  14. The first one was good. Watching the second one today, third tomorrow... I can handle a slow start. I made it through the first 10 or so episodes of Stein's Gate...
  15. Early spring next year. Unless all the vaccine candidates are failures.
  16. By the time Sherman's March to the sea in the civil war was done the soldiers were actually happy to have hard tack again...
  17. Trying to rationalize transporter differences gets you into good and evil Kirk convention snafus...
  18. So they went for the crap. X-Play is OK if Adam is back though.
  19. Seeing that trailer makes me know what it feels like to be old and pining for the good old days.
  20. I'm starting to remember nighmarish things about G4 near the end. Didn't they give up on anything tech related and tryed turning it into the stupid young adults doing stupid young adult stuff channel?
  21. Part 1 can stand on it's own BUT watch part 2! I loved the art direction in that one and the gore factor.
  22. Reminds me of puppet Henry Fonda saying "I know I speak for thousands of actors when I say that nepotism in the film industry is bad" and when asked exactly who those thousands were he replied "my family". (The same special had puppet Spock running around trying find the Leonard Nimoy who stole his academy award)
  23. It was THE sexy thriller the restarted the genre after a bit of a hiatus.
