  1. Mass Effect Infiltrator on Android is a passable smartphone FPS. Great graphics, but the controls are a bit clunky espcially for aiming and using biotics. I also dislike the way you have to kill things in a 'stylish' way to earn credits to buy upgrades. I just wanna kill things in the quickest, most efficient and safest way possible, without having to worry about whether I'm being stylish or not. Overall, I rate Gameloft's Modern Combat 3, N.O.V.A. 2 and N.O.V.A. 3 as being far better smartphone FPS games with far easier to use and intuitive controls for aiming, shooting and moving. Graham
  2. Pics please and I'll make sure Yamato sees them. Graham
  3. We get it here on Thursday Graham
  4. Need to see more, but Bandai-Enemas game could have promise, as long as it has a chase plane view like MUF and is mostly combat and not some stupid academy dating sim type thing like MTF. Graham
  5. Just bought downloaded the EA Mass Effect Android game, but haven't tried it yet. No idea about Mass Effect, beyond it's a sci-fi FPS about aliens invading Earth (that's the grand sum total of my knowledge......LOL!) Graham

    Bandai = EPIC FAIL :(

    I didn't say it was out. I said I have a preorder with ishop2go. Graham

    Bandai = EPIC FAIL :(

    I also have one of my VF-171EX pre-orders with iShop2go, but so far haven't received any order cancellation or refund email from them. Will post here if I do. Graham
  8. Disappointed that Hasbro seems to have given up on The Clone Wars figures. Graham
  9. My son and I are quite getting into the 'Avengers, Earth's Mightiest Heroes' cartoon. Just finished season 1 and starting on the currently airing season 2. Nice to see a US cartoon that actually has a multiple plot threads running throught the series, not just stand-alone 'bad guy of the week' episodes. Graham

    SCOOP thread!

    It's "Jon Snow", not "John Snow". Graham
  11. Got to buy at least 3 of the VF-19F, it is the most sexy VF ever IMO. Graham
  12. As I've mentioned many times, I would have been a lot happier with the YF-29 toy, if the lower legs locked more securely in fighter mode and the shoulder armour didn't pop of at least twenty times during each transformation. But as for the mecha design, I do find it far too busy and spiky and don't really like Alto's paint scheme. In my opinion, the VF-25 is a far nicer looking VF and toy. Graham
  13. Prefer the VF-25F toy and anime design over the YF-29 toy and anime design. Graham
  14. Kawamori should stick purely to mecha design and leave the directing to others. This applies to Macross too. Graham
  15. I thought from the thread title this topic would be about model kits photoshopped into pictures of real world events. Yeah, like Valks or Zakus photoshopped into pics of fighting in Afganistan or something like that. Graham
  16. No, it's even more impressive. Absolutely stunning. The most beautiful VF ever. I'm in love. Graham
  17. Damn, that's good. Thought they were CG pics from the show at first. Graham
  18. Never into the whole Super Sentai/Power Rangers thing and even my son was only briefly into Power Rangers for a short period, but this show sounds like fun and I may give it a try, especially as there seems to be an English subbed version (from the screen shots above). Graham
  19. Of course Flashback 2012. Graham Spare elbow, knee, shoulder and hip joints......just in case! Graham
  20. Standing Minmay figure. Graham
  21. Hopefully, it's not limited to Japan only. Graham
  22. Yes, that may well be, but it's still considered a treasonable offence in the UK to pronounce the language of the ancient enemy correctly! Remember Agincourt!......Mwahaha
  23. Which is why all my Bandai's get displayed in fighter mode Graham
  24. Received my Alto Super Parts from Tokyo Hunter (Save), yesterday. Here’s my initial musings: I’ve only put them on in fighter mode so far, as that’s the mode I prefer for most of my VFs. I think they look great. Paint application is first class and the tampo printing is really well done. If a few parts are painted the wrong colour, I didn’t notice and don’t really care to be honest. If it was a VF with a simpler colour scheme like the VF-17 or VF-19, any mistakes would stand out, but on the VF-25F as there’s so many coloured areas, it’s not really noticeable (at least to me). I love that all the thrusters are on ball joints and can be individually moved, even the smaller maneuvering thrusters, that’s a great touch. Several people have complained that the hip armour falls off easily. Well, I don’t know about Battroid or Gerwalk mode, as I haven’t tried those modes yet, but certainly in Fighter mode, the hip armour attaches very securely and you can actually hear it click into place. I was actually very impressed by how easily and securely all the armour attaches in Fighter mode. The only minor difficulty I had was attaching the wing packs as it took me a while to figure out how to slide them on correctly. My only minor complaint is that the missile hatches have a tendency to pop off when you try to open them, unless you are very careful. All in all, great job Bandai! Get’s a 9/10 from me. Graham
  25. There's only a few reported cases of the VF-19 joint popping apart and this only seems to happen when the ankle joint is deliberately forced past it’s range of motion limit. Graham
