I don't remember too much of the series, but I do recall being awed when the Castle of Lions turned out to be a spaceship and took off. Also really wanted the Lion toys when I was little.

How about a Power Rangers/TMNT crossover movie, so than can both be ignored in one go!😁

That, and Zero, have some incredible dogfight sequences!

Well, I'm alright with more Kirk and Spock.😉 But yes, I do hope they build the 'new' characters up, rather than leaning on the originals too much. I could see some of the legacy crew showing up as seasons go by, as Uhura is, as well as Spock, but that should be more transitional as time goes by. Unfortunately, there is name-recognition that it is far too easy to use as a prop, esp if they want to keep buzz going and positive. Also, adverse reactions to Burnham and others on Disco may have made them shy away from concentrating on new characters.

Always thought he looked better as a woman! As she is in my head-canon! -
Little differences can make big changes. It looks like a SuperValkyrie. And I love those Zero-inspired exhausts. Weird, as in unfamiliar. At least with Macross Plus. I'm familiar with the VF-19 and the -21, but little less from that one. Cool, you got some shoulder cannon!! @GMK Great work on the scratch Boxer!

@derex3592 Been buying el-cheapos from ebay for years. They always served well enough, though I did buy an iwata NEO some short time ago. Still haven't used it all that much. @joscasle Great work on the Minerva! @pengbuzz As usual, Mr. Buzz, you do impress. Your SDF is looking outstanding. @arbit One weird looking bike, but pretty cool though. @Urashiman Wow, really liking the lines of that VF-1P.

That, is a damn good looking amalgam! Looks like something the engineers threw together below decks! -
You know, that would mean tremendous kudos to them if they did that!

Me neither. Bad end there. Although how she ended up on Kodo's list of undesirables would be interesting to know. It would be cool to see T'pol again. Would mean some work for Jolene Blalock! According to Memory Alpha, the Farragut encountered the dikironium cloud creature in 2257. But who knows, maybe that the Farragut's bridge he's on in the promo pic, and he's in the command slot because of losses.

Detmer seems fine. In fact, when they were doing their 'hero walk' before going down to the 10C's home planet, I was suddenly wishing Demter was in charge. On the whole though, I thought it was alright. Much better than the anti-climax that was Season 3. Did I still fast forward through too many therapy sessions and crying jags? Yes. But it was, you know, better... Not too bad,

I really enjoyed this. Very fun movie, with good doses of action, comedy and the feelz all jumbled together in a pleasing mix. Yes, Ryan Reynolds is playing a lighter version of Deadpool, AKA himself, but if you like RR because of that you won't be disappointed. I wasn't. The kid playing his younger self was also really good, and the dynamic between them and their father was really well done. I think if could have had more of both Garner and Saldana, as they were quite memorable parts despite how truncated they were. About the only thing this was missing was a better villain. 4 out of 5 stars!

And I'm alight with that. In our own Navy, officers can command one ship and then be transferred, and be only an exec on the next, larger ship. In fact, that's probably very common. And who knows, it could be that Kirk could do something so bad that he ends up being demoted. Third season could see him coming to the Enterprise to be mentored by Pike in order to get back onto the fast track. I'm even more interested now to see what they're going to do. And as an aside, it's so nice to be able to talk about this show. On another forum, that shall no be named, this topic has been opened and locked three times because certain people can't control themselves. So this is refreshing!😄

Wow, someone did a great job on that paint/diagram scheme! Very cool! -
Haven't been on this thread for a while. I'd be interested as well, though I don't know if I have this version. The one I have was bought from Starship Modeler store several years ago. I still have the bucks though. Neptune/Moscato version. Thom

@joscasle Nice paint job on that Minerva. Lovely. @pengbuzz Loving the work on that SDF-!!

So would I, though he'd have to introduce himself to them all over again. And maybe they would too..? I think the wording was that no one would remember who Peter Parker was, so I wonder if they got snafu'd as well?

@arbit That was pretty sweet! I've thought about using styrene with papercraft plans.... Thought about it...

I must be watching the show through a different lens, cause so far it doesn't look that bad. Maybe I'm watching it just for the entertainment value* but it looks and sounds little different from most other ST shows, alternate history plots and time shenanigans that they've done before. So far, I'm still having more trouble with STD(😁) * go ahead, you can chuckle.
