They may take a few years, and another movie, before he becomes playboy Bruce. This is just year two after all, and he's just found out that vengeance doesn't care about justice.

...Bridgerton season two is out... Told by a friend...

Thanks @pengbuzz and @Rhubarbarian. I ended up finding and downloading one called Protoculture font. Worked good enough for the purposes. Thanks!

What I am looking for is the font style used in this title. Either the Macross or frontier. I would like to download and use it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Thom

Just an FYI, a friend told me there is a box set out that has the entire season and movies one and two. !!BEWARE!! He said the picture quality was alright and it has subs in english, japanese and malaysian, however the translation quality is not good. He said the first DVD was alright, passable, for the amount he paid, but when he jumped to the last dvds, oh boy... You know there is a translation problem when it's the Macross Quota that arrives during the last battle, and it only gets worse from there!π HE said it was a small risk at only $25, so ... Thom

In that scene, the nacelles are back in shot, but they are lower down in the windows. I think when they were first seen, far higher up, Kirk and co were supposed to be in one of the aft lounges on the back curve of the saucer. Now, I think they are 'set' in the main officer's lounge behind the bridge. Overall, I do like this version way better than any before. I'll be buying this one when it's out. Thank you, Mr. Wise!

Always take more Cordoba!

I don't think it's photoshopped, at least. Cruise does have his own P-51, and AFAIK, it is the one he flies in the movie.

Until SNW airs, my fav so far of the current Star Trek shows is Prodigy. Story-wise it has a nice blend of main plot and side stories. The only draw back it has, IMO, is that it's a cartoon.

Been a while since I was tempted by an anime that wasn't Space Battleship Yamato or Macross. May have to give this a look.

π No, I know that! It's just that it is so staged, that his hand is covering the socket, which is hanging in air without touching anything! I just tried to be humorous...

What is he wrenching on in this pic?

SG-1 had a good formula. Individual episodes that had an overarching plot throughout the entire season. Same with Babylon 5. Looks like they'll be doing the same here, which would make me happy.

@pengbuzz Looks like the SDF-4 Global has shown up! @electric indigo I don't know the character, but that is a nicely done figure!

Reminds me of an Impractical Joker skit where Sal was trying to sell a microwave that cooks food on the outside. That I could see the Klingons doing. I'm assuming that just enough 'timey wimey' ball is in play!π

It's entirely possible that his 'ultimate fate,' to get wounded on the training cruise and then end up back on Talos IV, is his best future. I still think he can die at any time before then, but if he does not, if that future is immutable, then that is where he is going if he survives to that point. Also, he doesn't seem to be the kind of man who would put others in danger merely because he believes himself to be 'bullet-proof.' And if he makes a wrong decision on the bridge and the ship gets blowed up, he's not going to be drifting through space, unharmed and without a suit thinking, 'hmm, this is a pickle...' He'll be dead too. As to when the accident happens, we do know his rank at the time. He's a Fleet Captain when it happens, though everything else, the actual time, the actual ship, the identity of the cadets, is a mystery. As to his temperament, whether he is feeling sad for himself, most of the snippets seen, not the whole of the thing, obviously, is showing him as a rather good-natured, almost jovial, individual. If they happen to show him being sad for himself while thinking what may happen in the future, that's only normal. And, whether you like Disco or not, the show-runners went out of their way to ensure that didn't happen to Michael by saving Book. And, in the immortal words of Welsley from the Princess Bride, βLife is pain, Highness. Anyone who says differently is selling something.β

If they do manage to find a convincing way for him to not suffer that fate, I would be for it, however... ...this is true as well. It's like Book being given back by the 10C when I think he really should have died in order to keep the weight of the story. And really, is it such a bad fate? In the end, after a long and illustrious career, he ends up on a world defined only by the limits of the imagination, with the woman he loves. That's not half bad.

It's still probably best of he doesn't try walking across on-coming traffic. Just because he knows his ultimate fate, doesn't mean that he can't die sooner if he does something different.
