  1. That is damn cool! I love the way the image works with the swing wings.
  2. Compared to the Bayformer movies it is much, much better! Compared to Bumblebee however and it is a step behind. Bumblebee still l holds second place in the whole pantheon of Transformer movies with the animated 1985 one still in the prime slot! That being said, Overall, I liked it but I was not blown away by it. There are a lot of funny (IMO) dialog moments and the action was good at least until the last battle, And that tie-in!! For a third one we need to have an OG style Megatron and Starscream, though Mega can be a tank rather than a handgun.
  3. Even though the box states 'clear' the Voyager kit is molded in frosted plastic, so I think it can be assumed the Enterprise D may be the same. I'd be surprised if it was done in clear plastic.
  4. @Seto Kaiba Even more reason not to care about anything concerning Harmony Gold.
  5. I'm a sloooow builder! Here's where my 1/700 Tri-Deck Akagi is at the moment. I messed up the details on the stern deck when I was squeezing the hull sides to the deck, and so I ended up getting another PE set to cover it after it was sanded flat. It's made for the full deck Akagi so some fettling had to take place. Also had to buy some 1/700 resin fairleads to replace the kit ones that were also damaged...
  6. Yeah, I'll stay away from that one!
  7. Great idea, Peng! Will be staying tuned. @foundshaian Nice progress on the Hornet! Seeing another WWII carrier in the works makes me want to get back to mine!
  8. Let us just imagine what Harmony Gold could have done decades ago if they had just used their money and resources to make an original sci fi series or movie. They didn't have to run Robotech into the ground with a sledgehammer but instead could have used it as a spring board for a multitude of other projects not related to Robocross at all! Could have had transforming fighters, a massive hero ship with an ancient legacy, rampaging aliens and a heart-wrenching love... but they just decided to keep trying to suck from the Macross teat.
  9. Except for that, they look kinda good. Different. But clearly the only thing that will ever come out this 'movie' will be concept art.
  10. That might be the same dream as a 1/1000 Ent-D. @pengbuzz Sending PM
  11. @pengbuzz I know, right?! At least getting them won't be the arm and a leg they've been, and certainly better late then never. Time to start saving!😁
  12. Just saw this on the Face. Round2 is releasing some Star Trek kits and a new one! First up, Kronos One from Unconsidered Country. Their 1/350 has been modified to model that ship, and comes with PE. Then there's the Cerritos in 1/1400 from Lower Decks. STD Enterprise is getting a face lift as the SNW Enterprise, with new saucer details and windows around the rim in 1/650-- sorry 1/1000!😁 And for those of us who were hunting for an Enterprise-D, they are re-popping the kit again as well as the full aztec decal sheet, and it is being molded in clear!* * clear could mean frosted plastic, the same as the Voyager kit. Now I know I will be getting an SNW Enterprise and that Ent-D decal sheet will come in real handy! Thom
  13. I have no problem with the Titan-A being renamed Enterprise-G, but I think what they should do is show a brand new ship. first of her class named Titan-B.
  14. Didn't' see that one, but then I've never been a Pinocchio fan.
  15. Went to watch it but didn't realize it is a series. I'll have to block out some time next weekend,
  16. It's been so long that I hardly remember the animated one, but this one I saw the other day. Wasn't boring, IMO, and it had a good ending.
  17. Liked it!! Very good movie and real nicely done sequel. It kept the humor of the original but infused it with more drama and depth. The only drawback... Aaaaargh!!!!1
  18. Just watched Peter Pan and Wendy and, surprisingly, really liked it. Of course I've never really been into Peter Pan and the last movie I watched was with Robin Williams... But Wendy doesn't do all that much 'action' except for some fighting at the end along with all the other Lost Boys (and Girls.) As for Hawkeye, that is another really good one especially with the mentor/mentee role that develops between them.
  19. @derex3592 Kitty Overlord looks pleased!
  20. Well, Disney historically has had a cornerstone on Princess-centric movies, though the move away from the 'damsel in distress' syndrome has been on the decline for decades, though that is in reference to more than just Disney.
