  1. Sure, the 'crush' was more in Memo's part, but I didn't get any feel of 'romance' between Charlie and Bee, no matter what song was playing. I didn't even notice it. When I watch it again I'll listen closer. As for the 'touching sessions' I just took it as a mechanic checking out problems. Definitely ET though.
  2. I didn't get any romantic vibe at all between Bee and Charlie! Very much more than a friendship certainly than anything else. As for Memo(?) I thought he was good and there was where there was some cushing going on. Loved the part at the end when he starts to
  3. Yes. I wasn't thinking about TDKT in comparison, but yes I would put it above Nolan's Dark Knight. Mostly though because they feel like they belong in different categories. Wonder Woman, Aquaman, MoS, JL all feel more fantastical than real, whereas TDKT is more 'real' than fantasy, if that's not too confusing... Different ends of the spectrum, for me anyway.
  4. I think there is one extra shot in there I hadn't seen already!
  5. Looks great, until I think about seeing it full of tourists in all their garish tourist clothes. It would be great if they had robes and other sorts of clothes that would fit the alien setting and be easily slipped over a person's clothes to hide the tourist look.
  6. I'm sorry, I can't help it! I do realize that I have a problem...
  7. I'm really hoping they keep diverging, though having just watched the clip above and Travis Knight reiterating that it is set before the previous attempts, I am confused... But then I think about that scene at the cliff, where Bee suddenly starts to play 'You've got the touch...' from the animated movie and I'm grinning!
  8. Loved it! The designs were finally something not just a shade of Transformers, but they were actually Transformers! The action scenes were great, esp since we could actually see them fighting! I loved the interactions between Bumblebee and Charlie and it actually felt like the Transformers were not just set pieces for the humans. They were integral parts of the story. Also loved the departures from the Bay movies. Gives me hope that they will be going forward with their own arc and not holding to Bay's crap. For me, the only true Transformers movies now is the original animated movie - and this one.
  9. Good movie! Loved the actions and cast interactions, they all did top notch in my book. Aquaman is now my 2nd fav DC movie after WW.
  10. Sadly. I have not enjoyed a Transformers movie since the first one Bay made, and that was mostly fueled by nostalgia and has certainly waned over the years. I haven't seen another in the theaters since. Age of Extinction I waited to see on TV and was glad I wasted no money on it other than a TV subscription, and the last one he made I'm not even going to waste any time on at all. For some reason, Bay seems to think that explosions are plot points. But, Bumblebee is looking pretty good. I'm liking the return of the G1 looks and I'm really hoping this is a soft reboot and it lives up to the hype.
  11. Now that's just conspiracy talk! (where's my sarcasm emoji?) But seriously, this is even worse than someone with a laser pen shining into airplane cockpits. We know what happens when something the size of a bird gets ingested into an engine.
  12. There will be more. But by the original, there are only two so we can easily guess as to what happens to the three in this one.
  13. Seriously hope they charge the drone operator for every hour that the airport is closed.
  14. Hadn't even heard this was a thing! Liking what I'm seeing so far.
  15. Little things making such a big difference! I was thinking that they had made the eyes overall slightly smaller. Glad they haven't!
  16. Not feeling it yet. Maybe it's too soon since Golden Army, but seeing this new Hellboy was a little jarring. I kept expecting to see Ron Perlman's version. Plus, I just really wish they would carry on from what had already been made rather than do another reboot.
  17. If I recall correctly, in the original there were only two Gelflings left..? So, the three in this one...
  18. Loved the original and can't wait to see this. One thing, I was hoping for a sequel and not a prequel, but oh well..
  19. Two and a half hours worth of it, please! And I'm going to say it now, Goose's son, Maverick's protege turns out to be a traitor trying to sell Top Secrets and Mav has to get his Mission Impossible on in order to stop him, whcih will entail getting into a Tomcat and facing off against Lil Goose in a Hornet. In either case, Lil Goose is going to die...
  20. With the Monitor testing each universe in search of heroes for the coming Crisis, I imagine he would not want them to know of other Earths and so may have set the book up so that it didn't show that. Obviously, he did not foresee Earth 1 already having contact with 38 and thus being able to draw on help in the form of Supergirl and Superman.
