Now THIS is my kind of post! That is a healthy collection you've got going there, have a lot of classic hard to find kits! The layer of undisturbed dust on the open ends is awesome and shows the time in the archives. You should take a half day off and remove the front layers from some of those shelves to see what is hiding on the back layer too! I love how you can always super stack the Nichimos into every nook and cranny at the tops, I've got a couple shelves looking just like this one

Did you check out the 3 page article from the designers? https://hobby.dengeki.com/reviews/2739360/ They do explain why they chose to be Legioss like, but not Legioss accurate (like colors), and there are some angles not seen in other pics, like the extended feet. I'm going into this as an inexpensive Legioss-like design, with budget and pose-ability at the forefront. The 30k Riobot is the more 'accurate' interpretation, but it drives me nuts being so small. From the pics I think this one should be much easier to transform (my assumption not proven yet) They also mention the removable canopy, so maybe its going to be used in some truly new designs or mecha interpretations. I tried disabling it many times but they kept bringing it back, so it just sort of hangs out there, some people use it some people don't. I agree with the sentiment of this being more a discussion board and less like a 'here is some cool content, give me a quick vote yay or nay'. But I also understand most people come from the like/dislike world of social media so this is a missing piece of the normal/expected experience. Given the choice of a like dislike, or someone breaking out the 'post' button and making a comment, I personally prefer the latter, even it if is nothing more than a 'hey that's cool'. Just feels more personal to me, but it also probably removes a ton of quick 'likes' because it does take more time and effort, and I know we all do an insane amount of multitasking. I've been reading the next version of Invision Power Board (ver 5) is a big huge giant change from what we are living here today, so we may be coming to the 21st century regardless of me kicking and screaming

Over Christmas break, met a fellow MW member up in a Costco Parking lot in the LA area who happened to have bought that Mospeada Legioss Armo-Fighter Hanken cel from last year. It was HUGE! With so much crazy detail. Lighting/glare was horrible which scrambled the focus, sorry, but at least you can sense the scale of it sitting in the back of an SUV. Amazing piece!!! It was quite funny seeing people walk by wondering what all the fuss was about. If anyone ever finds out where the 2 Mosepada bike versions are, make sure to let me know

On the twitter page they reference the Arii kit's caution type decals, which has this (for the VF-1J)..so it only makes sense to include one of the nose-art inspired art pieces

I'm going to say most of that 36mm difference is in the Quead's top antenna, like the spire of a high rise building I think its going to be LARGE

That looks just like assembling a model kit! On a tangent, I never thought of using red jetfire armor for the milia, and 1990 super armor for the max blue! Looks like it was just mean to be

How do those work? Are they pre-printed cards and the artist signs them? Or are they drawn by hand? I've only ever seen an old picture of Miyatake signing a bunch of pre-rendered cards (the only one I own) I assume there are both types, how do you tell which is which?

I never could have imagined the armor could be even mounted on the leg like that. I mean they had to take the thing out of the box to shoot it for the display right? There is some sort of reference!? Looks like its about to install some some laminate flooring.

I think you have it backward, the Legioss should be resized to the HAND!

What are your thoughts on screw holes and seam lines? Takatoku and Bandai were not always quite exact on alignment of their separate halves. Just wondering-either way you've done a complete retooling of the classis 1/55 which is unbelievable. Wow.

I thought once they left earth, all the space scenes with valks had the pilots with the space helmet, only the earth/atmospheric episodes had the open faced helmets. Of course I could be completely wrong and will be the first to admit it, but that is what is etched in my old memory. Crack in the canopy during battle in space without the enclosed helmet has a very different end result 😛

Nice signatures, I like that on the YF-21, looks nice, needs to be put in a box frame for the wall And only 15 years...those are rookie post numbers!!
