  2. Do you need a controller for an actual Xbox, or a PC? If it's the latter, I've find that the Xbox controller, though sort of the standard, isn't all that great. For probably less money, depending on sales, I personally own and recommend the 8bitdo Ultimate 2. TMR sticks, Hall effect triggers, two programmable buttons on the back, two extra programmable bumper buttons, and a charging cradle that can but store the UBC receiver as well as double as a pass through for said receiver.
  3. Understandable. The stores are terrible right now, the roads around them even worse. I was in a Target yesterday for non-robot-related reasons, and was surprised the sea of empty pegs and shelves had a full load of Hot Wheels Transformers. I now own a Twin Mill. Not a Boneshaker though, I think he's ugly. ... I do NOT own a working XBawks controller, which was most of why I was actually there. I have a half-working controller, and the new controller I bought to replace it is just non-working, so not really a viable replacement. And my assortment of other controllers are not of the standard layout and feature set, making them poor general-purpose devices.
  4. So nice to see The Ubiquitous is still getting put to good use! 🥰
  5. @BroTaku79 Thank you for all the great products you've made available.
  6. I'll buy Swerve and Powerglide. I wish Gears had the same wheels. The red piece under Powerglide in plane mode is the main part I don't like. Studio Series 86 40th Anniversary Hot Rod.
  7. Today
  8. That depends, apparently – I have a 1/48 J-10, and every panel has it's own ZIP code.
  9. Wow! Just incredible, thanks @M'Kyuun never knew about these guys - simply amazing. Thanks @Scyla I wish these get made into real sets at some point!
  10. Haha nice! after rubbing off the plastic with ISO, those plamax stickers adhere pretty well.
  11. Think we all would have, Ares seems like it was such an unnecessary film that steals from the events of Legacy in a bad way which is really sad. I kept getting a little conflicted on wanting to watch it but seeing how I can't rent it for under 5 bucks I don't even see a purpose to, I'm not spending 25 bucks on that movie.
  12. Sorry to hear you’ve taken a loss for this. I appreciate the work you’ve put into the stands. I hope you made some money on the U.N. Spacey stands. I thought they were a hit and sold out really quick.
  13. Could be the lighting; AFAIK the plane is in the front of the display, the bot in the back, and I'm not sure but I think on the second tier. Could also be because they're engineering samples and not the final product.
  14. Why does Powerglide look like two different shades of red? The robot looks completely darker than the alt mode.
  15. Yeah, that was my thought too... it'd be next to impossible to hit anything smaller than a large warship at a light second out when you have a 2+ second targeting delay. It makes no sense as a sniper weapon unless your target's stationary, huge, or both and it wouldn't be powerful enough to be a significant threat to anything much larger than a Zentradi battleship. Every now and then, Master File puts in something that is pure "rule of cool" and not quite practical... and also often weirdly on-brand feeling for the kind of insane "because we could" engineering Humans in the Macross universe practice. Yeah, it's +/- about 43,000km based on the most commonly used measurements. Pretty much all orbits are elliptical to varying degrees because of the effects of gravity from objects outside any given two-body system. A perfectly circular orbit is practically impossible in nature and would probably be a subtle but unmistakable sign that the Protoculture were up to some BS in the area. Similar to the impossibility of Libera being an ice world given its distance from the Ballota star in Macross 7 or the airborne islands and kilometer-tall tree on Uroboros in Macross 30.
  16. BTW, thought you guys might enjoy some pics from a Chinese trade show of unannounced AOTP figures. Prime Smokescreen. Someone reminded me that the original Prime Smokescreen got a Barricade repaint, and yeah, fingers crossed for that. I love the idea of a G1-compatible Barricade, but repainting Prowl was always super lazy (sorry, Guido). Animated Ratchet. It's funny, when I first heard leaks about this figure I thought it'd be a retool of Alchemist Prime. Actually, I'd thought that Alchemist would make a better Prime Ratchet, and that the Animated leak must have been mistaken. Well, turns out it's not Prime Ratchet or an Alchemist retool, it's a retool of Earthrise Trailbreaker. G1 Swerve. About what you'd expect. I'd have liked for his thighs to be white and his biceps and hands to be red, but as a retool of Gears it probably has to do with where those parts were on Gears' runners. And, oh yeah, G1-frickin' Powerglide. Bot's looking good, but the plane's looking a little rough. And hey, if he gets a Bad Boy repaint, we'll finally have Generations versions of all six eHobby Gobots.
  17. My local Target didn't have much of interest. The only thing they had that I didn't was SS Nemesis Prime, and my copy's due to arrive tomorrow from Amazon anyway. Didn't check Walmart. When I was younger I worked in retail, and now I kind of hate shopping around Christmas. I could swing by Walmart after taking my daughter to visit my parents tomorrow, but with it being the last weekend before Christmas I'll probably avoid it and just be patient for Amazon/Pulse.
  18. One that interested me was the Nightflyer from the 80's movie Nightflyers: Better pics of it here: https://propstore.com/product/nightflyers-1987/blue-alien-spaceship/ The ship was designed by production designer/illustrator Guy Hendrix Dyas, and built by David Sandefur (at least from the info I could gather): https://forthehellofitreviews.wordpress.com/2018/12/16/nightflyers-george-r-r-martins-novella-vs-syfy-channel-series/
  19. Eyes are wrong (too light, not "smoky" enough), head shape is off (too wide, too short from top to bottom), lips are too pale and too thin, nose is too wide at the nostrils and lacking the definition Gal Gadot's has, and her jawline is a bit off. Maybe this is her stunt double? Comparison:
  20. Target had a sale on select Transformers so I price adjusted the Soundwave I got yesterday for 40% off.
  21. Building with your kid is the best. I got a Gundam wing Entry grade for my kiddo and it’s under the tree. Will be a fun Christmas build.
  22. Wow! The PAAF certainly doesn't have many markings on them - I'm kind of in shock decaling mine (I tripled checked the photo references and they are clean!) since my last model was a 70s Phantom and I couldn't believe how many data stenciling there were!

  24. TBH, we will not be making any special stands going forward. I am just being transparent as both myself, and the designer/supplier, we both lost a lot of money on the regular skull squad stuff. We do this for passion, and while we do make small profit, our margins are so small to cover a massive loss, so it is a big threat to keeping the doors open. Until we both normalize, special stuff is out of the question. Hope you understand. Thank you.
  25. To be fair, that's exactly what Solo Camping for Two advertised itself as... an infotainment-type manga/anime about the camping hobby. It's sponsored by like thirty different outdoor equipment companies. There's a literal wall of their logos in the credits. It's just a really phenomenally sh*tty ambassador for the hobby it's promoting because it does almost nothing to present camping as a fun or engaging pursuit. Kind of the opposite, really. If it weren't for Shizuku being there to be someone for Gen to talk at, it would be the incredibly depressing story of this perpetually unkempt 30-something misanthropic loser with no social ties who goes out into the woods alone every weekend to get drunk and rant to himself about camping gear. There are other titles that deliver edutainment way more effectively like Ruri Rocks (mineralogy), How Heavy Are The Dumbbells You Lift? (fitness), Let's Make a Mug Too! (ceramics and pottery), or even Iwakakeru - Sport Climbing Girls (rock climbing). Not really... it's a pretty mixed bag this season but nothing good that's underreported as far as I've seen.
  26. However the pricing, I think you’ll be happy. Fully transformable and includes the driver and a power armor. Lots of bang for the buck
