Nichimo 1/200 Regult Tactical Pod Combo Pack
SteveTheFish replied to cfernandez's topic in Model kits
Nichmo re-released their 1:200 scale Macross kits about 25 years ago, but this time gave them stupid, monochrome stickers rather than decals as they did before. I read the Japanese instructions and it's like they're telling you that they're doing you a favor because you get to now color those stickers as you wish. Very glossy stickers too. Ridiculous. They came with two in a package. I bought two Destroid sets off of YAJ only to discover that they came with those absurd, unusable stickers. They are to-scale with the Imai Monster that Bandai repops every once in a while. I'm very curious whatever happened to the toolings for those now that Nichmo is no more. -
My kid still watches the first movie and likes Springfield and The Simpsons Ride at Universal Studios. Will most likely watch this movie for kids.

The first 6 seasons of The Simpsons was legendary IMO. After that, it wasn't really the same anymore, very hit & miss with one good episode and one mediocre. The Simpsons movie 2007 was the last time I really enjoyed the show. By 2010, I stopped watching all together.

Yeah, that’s about when I tuned out. I still contemplate watching it, but have never gotten past the classic episodes of the first decade.

I only remember a colored prototype of the fatty, not sure on the 21.

Did Bandai ever shown even a gray/unpainted prototype like with both the HMR Fatty and the DX YF-21?

What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v4.0
Seto Kaiba replied to wolfx's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Got back to Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Verse, having basically forgotten it existed. After a few minutes of episode six, I remember why I forgot it existed. It's kind of s***. The center of a Venn diagram of the worst aspects of Re:Zero and Nobunaga the Fool, both of which are vastly superior stories it's cribbing from without an ounce of shame. -
... wait, you mean there's some forgotten animation team out there that's still working on The Simpsons? 😶 Has the network just forgotten they exist and locked them in, or are they being held against their will? Seriously. I think the last time I spared a thought for The Simpsons was around the time the prior film came out... an upsettingly long time ago. Has it really been eighteen years? 🙃
-
Maybe this will be like the Hi Metal R Fatty from Votoms where the initial prototype has lots of room for improvement and the final product addressed almost every concern... It can happen!
-
I still love it…just not Lisa episodes. 😂
-
Same. Lost interest ages ago. It's like THE WALKING DEAD, I'm surprised that people still watch these series.

You haven't missed anything.😒

Besides being the second worst case of anime magic (YF-21 being thecl first) bandai didn't even cared to modify the truster at the feet to match the VF-17, making it a complete reuse of the 171 legs. Even the yellow markins are too small. With shose skinny legs I doubt there is enoguh room to pull out the legs storage gimmick.
-
Looks right at home in universe now.
-
Oof The only thing to be learned from those sketches is that the 17's fighter mode is intended to have skinny legs. That and Yamato definitely threw battroid scaling out the window as far as they could when they made their 1/60s. Honestly, their 17 had weenie legs too. It just had a wide Keanu top. I also noticed the 171 still has one of the missile ports on each shoulder. Was under the impression that both were missing from all the comments.

G.I. Joe Classified Figures and Toys
renegadeleader1 replied to sh9000's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
He was orphaned at the age of three by a drunk driver and grew up in a juvie facility until he turned 18 and immediately enlisted and saw his multiple escapes from juvie as practice for the military. He has no family, no friends, and considers the military a legal excuse to allow him to just keep running.- 1166 replies

Pink polo shirt and no pants. That’s a real power move, but I think even the H R department of the legion of doom might have some meetings about this It’s a real missed opportunity to leave out the wonder twins bucket of water

I haven’t even watched the Simpsons in almost 20 years. I’d have way too many episodes to catch up on
