  8. I appreciate the advice, and I'm all too aware of Walmart's lenient returns policies having worked there myself a short while after I retired from the military. However, while the slingshot is a lamentable omission, I can live without it as long as the eventual Movie version comes with it. While I don't lay awake at night worrying for the Walton family (I think they'll get by), the amount of theft and abuse of the returns policies that I saw working there were appalling and I doubt that things have gotten much better, especially post-Covid. The Walmarts in my area have all hired full-time security, and we regularly have police officers inside or hanging out in their vehicles between the exits, Moreover, those in high-crime areas (like my old store) have taken to ensconcing most or all of their LEGO product s (and other high-theft items) behind locked glass doors, often still with Spiderwire. The necessity for such measures is sickening, and after only seven months of working there, my view of humanity darkened considerably. Given the world situation, I still find myself thinking we're a bit overdue an extinction event, one that just targets us and leaves everything else alone. Cynical, but an earned cynicism. This isn't the first fig I've received from Pulse that was missing something; my copy of CW Seaspray, which I'd also seen on the pegs at retail beforehand, came missing a propeller. Maybe that's just my luck. Most of the time, however, my figs show up complete, so it's more of an annoyance than a serious issue. Harkening back to your review of Devastation Bumblebee, I got my copy about a week or so ago, and yeah, he's quite an impressive little figure. The transformation kicked my butt for a minute, but I eventually sorted it out. I'd love it if they just remolded the toes to look more VWish, as everything is nigh perfect for a G1 Bee.
  9. Cobra rattler version?
  10. The next VF-25 will be a GI Joe crossover
  11. They can't keep getting away with this!

  14. Hobby Japan Web has published the Hi-Res images of the Bandai HI-METAL R ATM-09-GC, as well as the sketches to the ATH-Q64 Berserga WP. The "HI-METAL R Brutish Dog" is set for release! Furthermore, design data for the Berserga has been revealed! Check out the option sets currently available for pre-order! [Armored Trooper Votoms] Brutish Dog Release Announced!! The Complete HI-METAL R V.O.T.O.M. Series: A Masterpiece Born from Refinement!! "HI-METAL," the pioneer of high-end, pre-assembled robot figures launched in the 1980s, has been succeeded by "HI-METAL R," and one of its main items is from "Armored Trooper Votoms." Starting with the Scope Dog Red Shoulder Custom released in 2024, there are currently eight models in the lineup, including those scheduled for release. like the HI-METAL R Scopedog (MELQUIYAN FORCES) unit too release in June. The characteristics of "HI-METAL R" ATs are that they are pre-assembled and, as the name "METAL" suggests, they use metal parts to achieve reliable articulation. Furthermore, each AT comes with an articulated pilot figure, allowing for play combining the AT with a human. In addition, the ATM-09-GC Brutish Dog, which was displayed as a reference exhibit at "TAMASHII NATION 2025" last year, has also been confirmed for release!! With the ATH-Q64 Berserga WP also in development, even greater expansion of the series can be expected in the future. For information on new HI-METAL R releases other than "Votoms," please see "HI-METAL R Frontline!" in the May 2026 issue of "Monthly Hobby Japan." Don't miss it!! ▲Rear view of the ATM-09-GC Brutish Dog (painted prototype). The PRSP Mission pack on the back has markings. Also, spare magazines can be seen stocked on the waist. Compared to the HI-METAL R, ATM-09-ST Scopedog. The changes are extensive, including not only the colouring, but also the gatling gun on the right arm, markings, the mission pack on the back, and the gliding wheels on the legs. The ATH-Q64 Berserga WP was on display as a reference exhibit at "TAMASHII NATION 2025". Please note that this is only design data, and the specifications may change in the final product. We will report on the specifications, included figures, and other details as soon as they become available in "HI-METAL R Frontline!". (Composition and text: Genki Ikeda, Koji Igarashi [TARKUS]) So I take it we will have the official reveal for the ATM-09-GC Brutish Dog very soon! I also take it since it doesn't came with very many accessories it should be cheaper then most releases but the could add two versions of Fyana to make it interesting!? Really looking forward to the unit! 🤗
  15. AE still in stock as of about an hour ago, was able to grab one before I went out the door.
  16. Scyla

    Macross Books

I got my copy of the Valkyrie and Destroid Encyclopeida and while the book is great it is a bit light on sketches for my tastes. Which book would you recommend that has more focused on sketches and detailed drawings?
  17. Been a bit MW Very Little Wishes came true and seeing Yoko Kanno tonight Anyone able to make the con?
  18. Nice review on the G2 Dinobots @mikeszekely. To me G2 Swoop and Sludge always look out of place to me with the other Dinobots. I think a mustardy yellow or a muted purple would be a better match for the muted blue, green and red of Grimlock, Slag and Snarl. In your pictures Sludge doesn’t look that out of place. Could be that Hasbro muted the orange a tad or that Grimlock is cast in a too vibrant blue (to how he should look in my mind’s eye). The group of new G2 Dinobots looks too much like a hodgepodge of colors instead of a cohesive group.
  19. I enjoyed "Crime 101" last night (on Prime) and it's the best thing to watch until Michael Mann's "Heat" sequel is released. Top performances from the cast, Chris Hemsworth finds an interesting angle for his seemingly cliché character, and Barry Keoghan is an overachieving agent of chaos. But the movie's top stars are the score & cinematography. (Do not watch the trailer, it will spoil a few key moments)
  20. I'll pick up my 2 copies today.
  21. Damn, Matthew Rhys is so good already. Everybody go see him in "The Beast within" if you haven't. Trailer looks good, but my latest experiences on Apple+ were the trainwreck second season of "Hijack", and I had to bail out of "The last Frontier" for it's stupidity. And the upcoming "Cape Fear" looks bloated, with 10 episodes announced.
