Yup, same, same. BUT... I need the Tornado..

Something about Snake's face still isn't right. Maybe his nose is a tad big. Definitely need Eva. Still playing mgsv after 233 hours thus far, I need a Quiet in my life.

Definitely my favorite... it's one of the rare cases where my tendency to overanalyze things is actually useful. 😅 I've been doing a bit more poking at the VF-25, VF-31, and VF-31AX Master File books for more details on stealth technology lately. There's some bizarre concepts in there. I think the weirdest being the idea that the VF-17's passive stealth coating is made up of microvilli-like structures similar to an intestinal lining to maximize its surface area to allow it to intercept and absorb radar waves from all angles. -
Oh man.,..tempted by that VF-25 Tornado! I'll wait until some more pics come out to make a decision. I have too many kits as it is. Haven't even finished their original VF-25 release.

Always liked the sharper lines of the Meltrandi ships. Nice work on yours.

That is some incredible model work! -
Personally I usually use gundam white from Mr color. It’s really a very pale grey. Kind like if you added a few drops of grey to a white mix. Basically not so white that it’s blinding and not so dark either
-
I've considered this several times too, but every time I do, I look at it and... it's just SO. DANG. CHONKY. And unrefined, looks too much like a child's toy. I don't mind the new DX and will probably pick one up when it sells for under $200, so thank you to all you picky collectors that are going to make it super cheap for me!

Hi. At least for me, for the Vermillion Squad I use a light gray , almost white, for any Skull squadron I use white.

Just putting this out to the group. When painting a VF-1 are you thinking white, gray or something in between for main body color? What’s your go to?

The New Hobby Japan Magazine has a two page spread on the Hi-Metal R series page 074-075 clearly showing that the ATM-09-GC Brutishdog will be the next release! It also has an overview of all the releases so far, also showing what pilot figure comes with what unit! Sadly the Fayana figure that will accompany the Brutishdog was not shown. I'm sure the pictures will be posted on Hobby Japan Web soon!

I watched the french animated movie "Mars Express" (on Prime) and was pretty impressed. It gets Cyberpunk Noir right, has great world building & design ideas, and avoids the exposition dump trap, which means you have to keep on your toes to connect the dots.- 1983 replies

I’m guessing he used a faded lavender mix. It does look cool though

Nice, can’t wait to see this one done. Right now we need a little hope and those little guys are the symbol of hope. Either that or Angine de Poitrine is the symbol of hope, not really sure, but it’s kinda a special year I guess

Except for the whole right-side arm/limb section, it seems. That's quite a weird design decision...
