    @Papa Rat @Thom @MechTech Thanks guys! Yes the show was good to me. @SteveTheFish Yes IPMS has come a long way when it comes to Japanese SciFi/Gundam modeling, but in my experience there's still the old timers who couldn't care less. Besides SCGMC, IPMS is pretty much the only game in town in terms of exhibitions. I'd like to see one of those IPMS guys put that Monster together and then let's what they say!

    Following up on this... wife's car is STILL in the shop. The order the dealer placed for a replacement battery was cancelled (Hyundai makes them, and apparently they're hording them for new vehicles). We're obviously NOT happy. Thinking about buying the wife another car, then putting off an "everyone can use it, especially me when the weather is bad and I don't want to drive the Porsche" until the lease for the Kia is over. Must be electric, wife prefers SUVs, and riding in my Porsche has given her a taste for luxury. Thinking the BMW iX might be a good fit. Thoughts? Edmund's really liked their long-term fleet car as it was fast, comfortable, has a great interior, and it was one of the most reliable EVs in their fleet. Only downside seems to be the exterior, which the wife and I agree is kind of fugly (but fugly is kind of BMW's MO, I think).

    Nice, just when it's at the point where every show is supposed to exposition dump to try to make sense of itself, we ge for the classic "random bs, go!!!11!!1!" ending instead.

    I found a strange problem. The knee position was obviously stretched. Considering that so many years have passed, it may not be the same person who made and modified the 3D model. After roughly making some parts, I tried a simple assembly, mainly to observe the corresponding structure and position (there are still many interference points and mold penetration) Unfortunately, there is still a long way to go before the final completion

    Yeah, I've had a similar feeling about the series from a very early point. Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX doesn't bother to develop any of its main characters, it derails the development and motivations of the secondary ones who actually run the story, it drunkenly stumbles through a premise from a previous series and then frantically rushes through a bunch of familiar plot beats to tick off some obligatory appearances on its way to what seems set to be an uncharacteristic-for-the-franchise happy end. When you think about it, all Studio Khara really did here was give Mobile Suit Gundam the Rebuild of Evangelion treatment. The Beginnings movie is basically Rebuild of Gundam 1.0 and 2.0 which recap the original story and its different outcome, and GQuuuuuuX proper is Rebuild of Gundam 3.0 where a radically different outcome is depicted.
