Yeah, the arms are much bigger and appear longer, same with the legs. He looks closer to a real life Wolverine stature than Dinklage stature

I have a feeling that it does, but I’m not sure. Maybe if you check some of the other recent figures from hasegawa, it will give a better idea just checked the description and it does include decals

Yeah the first film just works so well as a stand-alone sequels were never necessary IMO, especially considering 28 Weeks was really bad IMO so that should've been it. I definitely liked 28 Years, and they tried to really expand the world and the infected, there are explanations for how everything survived and continued, but as I said above, those explanations aren't as satisfying as one would hope. I think what was done with the infected worked overall, there's some interesting ideas and revelations that come about, things weren't explained too much either, there's still a sense of mystery behind them, overall I think the infected worked. It's really just that ending, man, that thing will really make or break the film for a lot of people, 95% of the movie worked really well, especially the beginning.

They showed that at the end of the first movie. The infected were dying because they weren't taking care of themselves, or at least that was how I took it. I do prefer the first movie as a one and done. Perfect as is.

Why was there never a Koto HMM Raynos kit? The entire Blitz Team got made, seemingly every other Zoid and variant too, but never a hero Zoid from a series? What happened?

Does it include decals for the eyes?

Yeah, preorders should be 1:00pm ET/10:00am PT. I'm in for everyone but Grimlock, and that only because I already have him. EDIT: And hey, my Pulse Premium which I haven't bothered to renew yet doesn't run out until Monday.- 17302 replies

The YF-29B is my second ever DX Chogokin purchase years ago. Certainly a very busy-looking valk, perhaps until the 31 came along. Forward to today, I find it weird no super parts ever made for it. But it could be canon to the game as I never played it...

Presumably water bound planets like Eden-3? Or probably any government that has enough local threats planetside that it constituted forces like a Navy or an Army. Some populations are gonna be bigger then others after all, and the more people the more of a chance they want to act up. There's also some merit with some of the standard VF types as well, the VF-5000 was designed as a lightweight air superiority fighter to work in tandem with the ground/local based VA-3, it just so happened that it was popular enough to be a next-generation fighter alongside the VF-4. Then there's why the VF-11 was chosen as the winner of the Nova Project over the VF-14; the latter has a longer cruise speed, sturdy, and has a lot of empty space in the airframe to make it easily upgradable, but the Thunderbolt was valued for it's versatility in all fields, whether be in space or in the atmosphere. Being designed as a carrier-borne aircraft also helps its case, where the VF-14 struggled in that field. Perhaps that's a reason why the UN designed the Varauta Army ships aside from giving fleets and planets ships that prioritized firepower. I'm reminded of the Day in Alcatraz story Kodachi wrote to tie in for his movie novelization where the OCTOS bis appears to respond to SMS' prison break to save Sheryl. I'd thought that design would be lost to time since it's even more obscure then the Sv-51, but there it was as a NUNS Special Forces Destroid; the thing was even given a VF-19EF gunpod in the place of it's original dual machine gun! I suppose replicas could be build sort of like the Sv-52s in The Ride and in Frontier's novelization supposedly, as the UN itself made 28 for themselves. Granted the production line was destroyed with obvious reasons, but history always gets unearthed in stranger ways. On another side note, I do love the reverence the story gives the Destroid Tomahawk of all things, to the point that Alcatraz's warden, James, used it to fend off the OCTOS bis' alongside Temujin. It's a really interesting story showing the prison break scene in the perspective of those from the place, where they all group up together to help out. I recommended it if anyone wants more Frontier stuff to sink their teeth in. The best guess I have that it's sort of an aerospace branch? Where they have VFs act as interceptors in the stratosphere like the RF-12A2 and R-311 Remora in Ace Combat 3, where they have carrier ships patrol and cruise in high altitudes as a in-between point? Wish we got more elaboration on it so we wouldn't have to do all the guess work. -
Different scale. Different type of transformation.

Luisa Guerreiro plays Toxie in the full make-up. Like Lou Ferrigno played the alternate version of the Hulk. It's possible, due to his stature, Dinkalge could not do the full physical performance.(?)

Is Dinklage even in the make-up? Seems another actor plays Toxie, he's pre-accident Toxie only. Kind of odd, why even bother making a big deal about Dinklage? I imagine he won't be in the movie beyond the first half hour.

Medicom/Hot Toys and all 1/6 scale figures
Tking22 replied to EXO's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I still have the ThreeZero Walt and Jesse 1/6 figures, civilian clothing and the cook suits. They still look great, I'm glad I held onto them after all these years, them and Mads Hannibal. -

I watched this Sunday night and enjoyed it overall, I think the beginning was great, the middle was solid, and the ending was lame as all hell lol. It's been spreading online since opening weekend, the ending is divisive as hell, for good reason, it didn't work for me, I'm in the camp of it came out of left field and was tonally a complete misfire. That all said, I liked the world building, the performances were good, and the infected were scary, and several of my complaints from the post above were answered in some way or another for the most part, not in the most satisfying ways, but they tried. I read the sequel for this was shot back to back so it's definitely happening sooner rather then later, I'm in, but yeah we'll see, the ending of this one jumped the shark like an episode of Happy Days.

I'm glad Hasbro decided to upscale the minibots and it's not at all surprising to see more coming beyond the fact that there was no previous announcement or leak. I'll be happy to have Powerglide, Windcharger, and Seaspray on my shelf. I'm not familiar with Swerve or Tailgate as characters, but if the toys turn out alright, and thus far I've been rather pleased with the minibots they've done thus far, I'll probably pick them up as I did with past versions, at least Tailgate; I don't think I own a single version of Swerve. Man, it's been so long since I watched Prime that I had to look him up. I remember that toy being a bit fidgety and certainly not their best effort in that line. Considering those toys enjoyed a level of complexity higher than today's deluxes, my skepticism that they'll do an accurate capture runneth over. Guess we'll see. Most disappointing but given the amount of time that has elapsed since Kingdom, where in fact he did appear in the box art, I guess it's not unexpected that it won't come to fruition at this point unless Mark or Evan or one of the other powers that be (perhaps a Takara designer) really wants it. That Kingdom art had a lot of us hopeful, I think. I saw this announced on TFW2005 a while back and I thought it interesting given how far the toon version varied from the Diaclone toys. (Eternal thanks to Floro Dery) I don't think they were bad toys in the context of Diaclone, i.e. mecha suits for little dudes, but in terms of being sentient anthropomorphic bots, they just didn't really fit in with the rest of the Autobot gang. That said, I still have my G1 Ratchet, the only one of the van bros I owned. Even then, it just felt jarringly different. The decision to do them in Missing Link is odd given all the other bots that more closely comport to their toon versions, but I guess in terms of just updating all the G1 toys with articulation, they're a must, especially given the prominence of the characters. I think it'd be interesting if Takara found a way to give them their odd G1 configuration and then combine the weird upper body with bits of the treaded chariot to create a bot mode more reminiscent of Dery's design, essentially making them triple changers in a sense. I don't collect Missing Link (just give me Prowl, please), but I'd love to see them pull off some cool engineering if they indeed make the attempt to do as I described. As far as doing a Decepticon, I think they'd get the most mileage out of Soundwave due to his bevy of cassette minions who they can repaint to their heart's content. If they do Megatron, my interest is piqued as well. The G1 toy always fascinated me, and while I now own 'perfected' versions of that toy and character, something about the original toy still grabs me and I wouldn't mind owning a fully articulated version of it. I figure they made Prime, so they're kinda obligated at some point to do Megs. I'm here for it.- 17302 replies
