Did a quick build this morning. I am not really into figurines anymore, but my kid lives Basara. So I got the minimum factory one. The eye decals are super tiny. I am glad I got them aligned to an acceptable degree. My kid was especially interested in the guitar. It is a really straight forward build. No snap-fit though. You need glue. I was too lazy to paint and my kid to impatient for paint, so it is a „Vanilla“ build. The sprues afterwards. Finished model. And… next up? @Thom uhm… well. Mhmm… *professional head scratching commences* @Papa Rat thanks!

Congrats on a remodel. House updates never end. My wife has a list on our fridge with everything we need to work on and it feels great when we get to cross off a completed project. A basement remodel is next. Can’t wait! I need to buy a proper display case eventually. My completed builds are stacking up and sadly live in their boxes and never see the light of day 😔 I’m excited and intrigued about what you are going to share. Look forward to it. 👍

Just print the top half, paint a hole on your wall and mount it like it is busting through Boddole Zer's command center. -

It's possible this will be a rebooted version of the Tron program. That would, at least, be a good reason for using the name.

Urban's Dredd was so good! What a missed opportunity for more.

Come on, Hasegawa..... quit sleeping on the VF-25A. You have all the parts for it, just need to mold the VF-25G in a neutral color and ship it with a standard gunpod. It'd sell like *dango*...
-
Will be cool to see it happen. I just hope they keep the modern aesthetics for the ship. And I haven't seen the new episodes yet, but those are some great designs! That last looks like a modernized Crossfield!

@Papa Rat - Thanks! It's been a GREAT kit! (minus the ridiculously waaaay to thin decals) As you are on a Zentradi kick.....I've got something you're GOING to want to see later on, hahaha...It's BIG and green! I got it years ago from a resin kit guy down in Australia...I'll post some pics this weekend. We just had flooring and painting done inside our house over the spring, so I'm just now getting around to carefully unpacking all my older kits and getting them back out on display with minimal snapped of little parts which I'm repairing as I go..... Stay Tuned!

One of my greatest peeves is that the only VF-25A available in physical form *at all* is the 1/60 DX toy, and the only way to make a 1/72 version is to start with a VF-25G, all of which are molded in blue to make them extra annoying to paint, and then raid another model for a gunpod (which is never spare). Hasegawa *please*, just repop the Super VF-25G in gray plastic and toss in a gatling gunpod. You don't even need to change the decals other than to add more numbers. Easiest rebox ever and they'd sell like *dango*... -

Note: Johnny is not yet officially up for solicitation yet (butt teased here only). Hot Toys will possibly have him up or not as Howard loves to screw collectors up. -

I really enjoyed the first film, main issue was making a new, original character the protagonist, Cole sucked and half his story was Johnny Cage anyway, Cage should've been the "fish out of water" main character in the first film. Love the cast, still looking great, MK is my fighting game series so I'm in for a theater viewing for sure.- 31 replies

I actually agree with that sentiment, and it's what led me to start playing around with what a NUNS version of the VF-25 might look like. I get the idea that a screen full of "hero" valks is visually confusing, but I think the way Delta handled it with differently colored versions for protagonists vs cannon fodder was more than adequate. And, like you say, the original did just fine with everyone in the same plane. -
