  1. Past hour
  2. Motorhead of GI Joe. It's crazy that Zartan is worth over $100.
  3. Some more comparison pics: So obviously if you have to choose between the Sentinel or the Toynami, go with the Sentinel. . . . because the Toynami Alpha is just that awful. However, there are a few things that the Toynami Beta still does better than the Sentinel Tread: - Head turns - the Toynami head may lack and up/down tilt. But its head turns so much better. - Chest - the Sentinel clearly has the better missile layout. But I wished the missile bay doors could drop just a smidge more. It looks like the bay doors block the path of the bottom row of missiles. - Chest Size - the Toynami chest is definitely bigger and wider. The proportions on the Sentinel aren’t bad necessarily. But it kinda looks like the Sentinel Tread never skips legs and forearm day. But doesn’t exactly put in the work on chest day. - Legs - The Sentinel can do a solid A stance, but it’s not as wide as the Toynami’s. Further, the knee articulation in soldier mode is a little more limiting on the Sentinel. Neither will be able to do the Black Widow hero pose, but the Toynami has slightly better leg articulation.
  4. maybe a bug? somehow, gundam@efsf's pics are showing up on my post in All Activity mode even though I did not quote them:
  5. What’s lying on my workbench? A Gatling gun, missiles, sand paper, paints, and pretty soon, some stickers.
  6. Today
  7. I think my prior post disappeared. Happy Belated Birthday Peter Cullen.
  8. Ordered 2 sets with my voucher.
  9. That had the Touch and the Power- very cool.
  10. I skipped the Cold Slither set during this morning's window but then it was available again later in the day for Pulse Premium members so I decided to just order it.
  11. This is awesome. And Happy Belated Birthday Peter Cullen.
  12. The HoS line doesn't interest me, but I'd like this as an alternative Grimlock figure: That Mark V inspired tank mode is lovely.

You can tell because they weigh the same as a duck, or a very small rock 🤪
  14. 【Finally, a VF-1 That Moves Like It Should】 Most transformable VF models aim for tight fighter-mode silhouettes. Perfect panel lines. Zero gaps. But the tradeoff? You can barely move the damn thing in Battroid mode. This new manufacturer flipped the script. I remember seeing the prototype two years ago at a local convention — people were… lukewarm. But now? The real thing hits different. ✅ Transformation is solid ✅ Battroid mode is actually poseable ✅ Feels like a machine, not a fragile shelf queen You’re not just transforming it. You’re playing it. Finally — a VF-1 that's not just for photos. It stands. It poses. It fights. And you don’t have to worry about breaking it every time you twist a joint.

Picked up a Takatoku catalog (the standard one from 1983) recently and was looking at the items inside-saw the VF-1A and took a closer look, and it's definitely a pre-production item (left from catalog, right is the takatoku prod version) Neat! At the bottom of the cover page they mention some of the items in the catalog are made of wood, and may not reflect the actual production items.
  17. If they ever get to an official HoS Shockwave, I'd be all over that.
  18. It really is. It's even harder to believe Strange New Worlds is literally a spinoff of Discovery. If Starfleet Academy follows on from Discovery's tone and themes, it'll be nigh unwatchable. If it takes after Strange New Worlds it might actually be worth giving a look. The "good vibes" and optimistic outlook are essential for it to feel like Star Trek.
