505thAirborne Posted July 10, 2018 Posted July 10, 2018 I like what I see! What scale would this 2SS be in?
newfych Posted July 11, 2018 Author Posted July 11, 2018 (edited) Thanks, 505thAirborne). 1/60 I think, but not shure yet. After printing some parts it will be more clear. Edited July 11, 2018 by newfych

Jasonc Posted July 13, 2018 Posted July 13, 2018 Is this going to fully transform? If it is, are you going to 3D print the mechanical pieces in metal?

Metal 3D printing, however, is pretty complex and expensive process.. So I hope to make all parts from ABS (maybe Nylon for some of them). Edited July 14, 2018 by newfych
newfych Posted July 15, 2018 Author Posted July 15, 2018 During the prototyping stage - scale is 1/48 for now..
electric indigo Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 Are you modeling in C4D? Don't see that too often. Your shapes & proportions look good so far.

I usally use Maya, but for such stuffs a large amount of software is useful - from Paint to Solidworks for me..
Tage Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Amazing! Keep up the great work. I've always got a soft spot for this Valk.
MechTech Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 Your modelling and samples look REALLY good! I'd love to see how this turns out! - MT

Knight26 Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Looking good, what scale are you printing it at?
MechTech Posted November 15, 2020 Posted November 15, 2020 That is looking good. Making it transform is an added bonus! - MT
Jaydee59 Posted November 19, 2020 Posted November 19, 2020 I'm building it at 1/144 scale for the prototype then plan on building a 1/72 scale.
Jaydee59 Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 Here are some pics of gerwalk mode, still have a few parts to make but it's about 90% complete.
