Wow a 1/60 or a 1/48 SDF-1 Macross THAT WOULD BE HUGE!!! probably we can store it in the garage instead of the the car Just joking, they should make a Movie version of the Macross! Gabe Q
Only if it's in 1/48.None of this 1/60 crap. Man, a 1/48 SDF-1 would be about 75 feet long. Even in "crappy" 1/60 scale, it would be about 60 feet long. That thing wouldn't even fit in the garage. You'd need a warehouse! But you were just joking, right? APU
Why do you guys say the 1/60 are crap ? Just because the 1/48s are out all others are crap?!!

UN Spacy
Hahahahaha. Silly fanboys (j/k guys). If Yamato could scale it 1/625 it'd look PERFECT (in Cruiser Mode) next to my Soul of Popynica Uchuu Senkan Yamato. Oh......that'd be better than a wet dream (once again....just kidding). Gosh I need to get some sleep.
wolfx
1/48 SDF-1? Hmmm, mebbe your garage can fit just the Daedelus. Use the GI JOE USS whatitsname as reference.
isamu_dyson
a 40 /50 cm long SDF-1 in cruiser mode will be perfect and transformable
Impreszive
I could do with about a 1/650 scale. It has to be the DYRL version though. I don't know why, but I like that one alot better. It looks more mean.
RichterX
I would buy a big SDF-1 Transforming Macross if they sell anywhere between 100-180 dollars. Wouldn't it be cool to have a 1/48 or 1/60 with battery power movement and actual canon firing from its main gun! Imagine it walking on the street with people running away and the Macross making pin point deadalus attacks to the cars
BoBe-Patt
So bandai is reissuing this sucka? Is this a fact or just someone's wet little dream?
RichterX
So bandai is reissuing this sucka? Is this a fact or just someone's wet little dream? Wet because we drool about it?? Yeah it is a dream, but I hope this is put soon in the toy production schedule of Yamato

USS FLAGG is the GI Joe aircraft carrier. I like the idea of the 1/625 scale. I would look nice sitting beside my 1/625 SOP BXP-01 Yamato. Impreszive
I just realized the Kakizaki mentioned selling all our posessions and moving into a 1/48th scale Macross. I'd do it if it were a 1/1 scale. I get dibs on the Captain's room!
UN Spacy
I get dibs on the Captain's room! That's fine with me......I'd rather shack up with the Bridge Bunnies anyways.

to177
1/4000 scale would be nice too. Similar to the Yellow Sub resin kit. And definetly yes if it transfrom and come as die-cast.
Uxi
I think something about the size of the old Bandai would be nice... but I'll bet it would be about $300 bucks if Yamato did it... so maybe a bit smaller would be ok. But definately release one so I can moan about the price while buying one.
EXO
If you build it, they will come. Somehow, that phrase takes a whole new meaning when it comes to fanboys...
Anubis
I'd love an SDF-1, whatever scale it can be made to keep it at the 150-200 dallar price point.

ManxoChu
Don't forget to stock the Daedalus with functional 1/48 destroids. Now, if we had a 1/1 functional Macross, I say let's look for that 10th planet that I heard about lately. Btw, dibs on Max and Milia's room. But definately release one so I can moan about the price while buying one. I think the old bandai is 1/3000 scale right? How big is that? I was thinking if Yammie can make it to be the size of about 1.5 times a 1/48 valk. any1 knows what scale that will be? if they can work it within a 300 budget I will surely get one.. You cant complete a macross colection without a SDF-1! Edited April 10, 2004 by Clarkent
