I did get my SD Ostrich and VF-1 along with the fanliner....recasts anyone? I feel that this will not be resolved it has been over a year now. I nominate my models to the molds.We do not need to sur him, just use my models(and anyone else interested) to make recasts for the believers here @ MW. Not for profit of coarse but to spread the love. hey if there is some love spreading that includes the fanliner and the Ostrich.. On the flip side, I was insulted by his web site which at that time had all this anti-war crap on it. Hey, hate the war, but love the goddamned Soldier. I decided back when I saw his web site that I would not support him any longer. so in effect, I have already boycotted him a long time ago, personally. Sad that someone with such talent can't just stick to making good products and selling them to whomever wants them without trying to leverage said products to get his own personal message across. No matter what they are they have nothing to do with a business deal he made. He's just trying to justify himself being a thief! Like by withholding our models he thinks he can change something in Iraq? Is he delusional? While were at it I don't agree with all of his governments actions and policies either. Since I already don't buy resin kits in general (I don't like resin kits because of the safety issues inherent in resin) my joining the boycott would be meaningless. In short, I was not his customer to begin with. Still, I say godspeed on this, and I hope he gets his head forcibly pulled from his rear. I wouldn't agree with him, but I'd respect him for being a man of principal. Once he accepted the money, his political views mean jack and $hit. Accepting the money means you've accepted who, to the best of your knowledge, the funds are coming from. I'll wait on more news from Jesse before calling him a cheat, but his case doesn't look so good right now. If the translation was correct and he's using political views to reneg the terms of the "contract", Tanmen's not only a cheat, but he was already a sellout to those very principals he supposedly feels so strongly about. Considering that from this site via MY own decisions to buy I am out around 900.00 dollers from Blacklisted MW members, One of whom ( really lets be honest) will not pay up what is owed. Also I am quit sure that there are those whether they are saying so or not that would jump at the chance to buy other kits if made available. Mame roms project and others , makes old, unavailable, no longer manufactured or supported arcade games available to people to copy, distribute, enjoy and to relive or experience those games while preserving their art and creativity. The VB6 is like one of those old roms. IHP has currently and forseeably cease doing business with direct customers since the one and sole employee now works for Yamato. All of his old works is locked up or lost if there will be no reproduction. Tanmen is actively still working and producing models including the ones he doesn't want to sell to MWers over his crack head interpretation of how to demonstrate anti-war sentiments. Does this guy even know that MW is an INTERNATIONAL site which Macross fans from all of the world but the server is based in the US? I don't see the stars, stripes, or banners on the front page. I see the UN Spacy Kite shield. Sorry for the rant but in anycase, he is actively in the modeling business and it is ethically wrong to steal his money, like the way he is attempting to do so unto MWers who have ordered from him. I am fully for the recasting of any model that any of the MW memebers can get that are no longer available to them. Especially the Konig and D'Stance. And on that logic for the SD Valks not to be also,givin the fact that as I stated HE (Tanman) has NO intention of making GOOD ON HIS END as we have on ours And believe me I am not talking about "hey lets all rake in the dough on this" I'm stating making for us here,peoeple that love the model kits. The best thing about this approach is that mail fraud fall under international law and being a citizen of Japan does not provide him immunity. In fact, that may go against him since they are less tolerant of white collar crimes and they have stiffer penalties than in the US. Hello, I definitely agree with the boycott, and I was really close to joining into the large order Jesse started. I have an even better idea: We should "edit" the Tanmen kits that people here at MW were fortunate enough to receive before he flaked out, and send them as part of a care package to all of the American/Japanese Soldiers serving in Iraq, and are Macross/Robotech fans. That way they'll have a kit to build when they're not on duty. He should really get a kick out of that. It's hard to believe that the same guy who made the most detailed valkyrie ever (Club M 1/48 Ultimate Strike Valkyrie), has no sense of honor.
