Wave is releasing Battroid and Fighter modes separately which you can combine for Gerwalk mode. Or if they're adamant about the segmentation, they should have ONLY included the S/A heads with the Strike kits, and ONLY included the J/D heads with the Super kit. Now that I think about it, what do people think are the more "iconic" VF-1 heads? Obviously the S takes top spot, but what would be second-best known, the A or J? They seem to be more dyrl than og series, so the D would be odd especially since even the og D type had some body differences. But back to these being more dyrl, the J is barely seen. They did do a standard 1J, but it had movie hands and I think it also had a movie style pilot, but oddl these all have tv style stabilizers on the legs. There was one that wasn’t an og Macross kit, but I think it only got a fighter before the line was cancelled, but I don’t remember what it was. They weren't cheap, but MAN were they extremely well done!!! I wished they had made a million more mecha from SDF all the way through Delta even!
