It gives you sooo much, action, adventure, suspense, drama, pretty much throughout the entire movie, and yet at the end you just want 20 or 30 seconds more in order to see Coop and Brand reunite.. and we don't get it. AAArgh!!

In that way it reminds me of Oblivion, though at least that one gives us Jack 2.0 seeing Julia and her daughter just before the credits.

Classic Nolan. He did a similar open ending with INCEPTION with the spinning top (totem).

Another espionage thriller?? ugh

I don’t know, I kinda like the premise on this one. He wants to be John Wick, but ain’t that dude, so he has to use a different set of skills to get revenge

the way he took out the guy in the pool is hilarious, I was just thinking of how things could go horribly wrong with those

I guess this studio (or is it different companies behind this, Winnie the Pooh and whatever other one came out) made some money on the other garbage they released when characters hit the public domain.

Batman Beyond: Year One (Fan Film)

Had me excited for a live-action series! Still nice fan film, and it took me a moment to identify the guy playing Terry. He was one of the heroes on Titan.

I think there may actually be two of these movies now. The other is called Popeye the Slayer man. Not sure if one is a fake or why there are two of them.

The question isn't why; the question is, why not?

I guess maybe the question is why they’re both horror movies. The story kinda begs more for a cheesy hardcore comedy

They are horror movies since it is the "thing" to turn old IP that just came into public domain into horror versions to make a quick buck.  Putting any more thought into then that means putting more thought into it then the people that shovel this kind of stuff out.

What I "Yam" is garbage.

I used to be all for having copyright expire but this has me rethinking that.  (And the Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse ones).  Then again even talentless hacks have to make a living somehow.

All it’s proven by having the copyrights expire is that more than likely they’ll just crap on the character rather than do them justice in any new movie. I guess the only good Popeye movie was the Robin Williams one and everything else will just be a cheap cookie cutter turd of a horror movie. Then again, a modern Mickey movie by Disney would probably just be crap as well.
