As far as I know, the only mass produced FMP mecha kit ever made was one of the Arbalest, by a company called Romu.

I actually have that Romu kit. Been looking around some, and haven't seen ANYTHING else except for a figure that you have to buy DVD's I believe to get the various parts.

Just been to animesuki lately and it seems in the novels the "ARX-8" has appeared. WTF!?

So I was wondering are there gonna be models of it soon or are we gonna have to wait after the ARX-8 is animated in an FMP series or movie???

BTW, so as not to spoil anyone just google for the ARX-8. No need to post here. :-)

wee! The ARX-8! It'll be a loooong time before we see that animated, considering how many novels there are from where the anime left off to when the ARX-8 appears... one monster of an AS though I tell ya.

Wave is apparently bringing out a new 1/35 kit of the ARX-8 Laevatein (24cm tall). Liking that full cockpit setup with articulated pilot figure.

Is Wave actually making it or just distributing it from another company? Looks a lot more hefty than what they usually make, but a lot of their more ambitious kits have been from other companies like Academy doing the Galient kits or Orange Cat doing the Tekkaman ones.

As far as this one, it’s not my favorite from the show, but I definitely like the details and the little dude. And is that little dude actually articulated? Looks like it has several joints. I might have to get this one

Same here, I liked the more basic designs from the series before it got a bit more super robotish. But I definitely don’t hate any of them from what I remember. It’s been a while
