I challenge DuelGundam2099 to watch this movie...

CLICK AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

Hehe, that was awful. But that trailer for Godfather 1 & 2 was f'king. Awe!Some! Like it's one of those (movies) that transcends, i.e. so bad, it's good. :p It looks like it could attain a level of guilty pleasure sh*ttyness that might even approach that of Kung Fury.

Since Duel hasn't posted here for over a week, it's safe to say that this movie won.

On to our next topic...

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is hitting theaters this month, and it's already been hailed as one of the best sci-fi films ever produced. But we're not going to talk about that film. Instead, let's focus on the one that nearly killed the franchise over a decade ago. And rest assured, once Duel emerges from his coma, he'll defend the crap out of this.

More like I have zero interest in watching it.

Well it was the best entry in the franchise. I also like this massive biased against it when Cinema Sins did an episode for Rise as well.

You know, I can't even lie, some of those movies (as horrible as they may have actually been) were fun. I'm looking at;

Equilibrium, Creature, Screamers, Phantoms, Predators, Leviathan and Deep Star Six (there may be others, but those stood out) while adding Deep Rising.

There are others that I agree with as actual "good" movies, looking at;

Avengers, Captain America: TWS, Nolan Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception, Aliens, Predator and The Hunt for Red October, again with maybe a couple of others.

I thought I had a wide berth in accepting "bad" movies as "good" but my friend you take the cake. :lol:

Wasn't about to start a new thread over this, wasn't sure where it should go. Just. My. God.

I laugh out loud. But it's a reflexive action. Otherwise, I'd be crying.

My heart and my soul weep at the thought: these people are most likely breeding...

  • 2 weeks later...

I liked The Room the same way I liked The Grapes of Wrath, good but not great. Do research next time- Actually this isn't even a sci-fi movie, are you trying to bait me?

But it is Sci-Fi. Try explaining the following scenes:

  • Johnny enters the flower shop. The florist doesn't recognize him at first, despite the fact that no one remotely looks like him. Then before he leaves, she tells him he's her favorite customer.
  • Any scene involving Denny.
  • Lisa's mom explains she has breast cancer in the middle of the film, but it's not mentioned again.
  • Johnny's sudden change of attitude when he sees Mark on the rooftop.
  • The guys playing football with their tuxedos on.
  • The Peter character suddenly changes into the Steven character at the party scene.

So anyway, how's your sex life?

The shop owner is near-sighted.
Any scene involving Denny.

Such as?
Lisa's mom explains she has breast cancer in the middle of the film, but it's not mentioned again.

Because that is not part of the main story, the marriage was.
Johnny's sudden change of attitude when he sees Mark on the rooftop.

He was deep in thought and his friend snapped him back to reality.
The guys playing football with their tuxedos on.

They like football, I've seen similar stuff at weddings before the ceremony.
The Peter character suddenly changes into the Steven character at the party scene.

Huh?
So anyway, how's your sex life?

It burned too few calories so I moved on to more efficient exercises such as boat rowing, curls, situps, and cardio.
