Keith
Ok, I just had a thought about the whole exclusivity/non exclusivity thing. What if the Raiden game, or rather Raiden version of the game "is" exclusive to 360. While the PS3 gets a Solid/Big Boss/Whoever it is version, parallel storyline with a different character. That's just shifty enough to be pulled off by Koji Pro with all the teasers.
Black Valkyrie
It seems that the new Casltevania is also being produced by Kojima Productions.
Omegablue
I still don't understand why they would even remake MGS4, considering it only came out a year ago. I can understand if they remade older games to update the graphics and gameplay. Unless they're going to release a MGS4 special edition like MGS2 substance and MGS3 subsistance. Well considering that MGS3 Subsistance had new camera and additional extras, I do regard it as remade. But yeah, intended special edition. Omegablue
OK, so it's Raiden and the game is called Rising. Will this be slotted as a side story, or officially as MGS5?

Duke Togo
MSG: Peace Walker officially announced, looks to be a multi-player co-op for the PSP. Big Boss circa the 70's, actual gameplay footage shown.
Jeremy007
Kojima just said that it was Snake, not big boss. Im watching the SONY E3 coverage and im pretty sure thats what i heard. also...sorry for asking a stupid question but since the PSP GO doesnt play UMD's, how do you play the games? Do you download them directly to your PSP? If so, can you download PSP Go games to the regular PSP? I dont quite understand how the two work together. Jeremy007
so....do you buy a downloadable game for $50 or something like that? do you buy all games for the GO online?

The PSN currently already has download options for downloading both PSP & PS1 games to a memory stick in the PSP. The PSP Go will use this feature to download to its flash memory. Current model PSP's don't have said flash memory, but they do have memory card slots. You can download the exact same games onto a memory stick, as you would to the PSP Go's Flash Memory, to play the exact same games on current gen PSP's. Keith
so....do you buy a downloadable game for $50 or something like that? do you buy all games for the GO online? In theory that's what new games will cost, older ones cost around 9.99/19.99.

Duke Togo
Joystiq's take: "The game is set in the 1970s, 10 years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 3. It will star, yet again, Big Boss and will take place in Costa Rica, divulging the back story of Outer Heaven's creation. It will debut in 2010." Duke Togo
My guess is Sony didn't want to be second with this announcement, so they are waiting on Konami to "announce" it for the PS3 (and PC) at their press event. Either that, or its possible its a "timed" exclusive for the 360.
Keith
Given Konami's E3 page still hasn't put anything up beyond a picture for Rising, all info should be out at hteir event tomorrow.
Duke Togo
News from Konami's press conference (via G4): PS3 LOGO confirmed on the title screen. This is the "next series of Metal Gear" for the next-gen consoles. This is a stealth espionage action game, but the main character will be Raiden. Kojima is testing a new method of game development. More of the American way: using the same game engine for multiple titles. Rising will be created by the "up & coming youngblood" at Kojima Productions. PC also confirmed! PS3 / PC / Xbox
