Ryuji Posted November 9, 2004 Author Posted November 9, 2004 Anwering questions... How to make transparent and metalic eyes: - first, open a hole in the iris part. - aply a aluminium foil and paint with clear color - fill the hole with transparent resin. - finish! Some of my other works gallery: (yes,I made that Faye Valentine. ) http://www.geocities.com/celsoryuji/garagekit02.html Probable Hobbyfan will cast this kit - I don't know when.(I didn't send the figure to them yet) Maybe they will offer a pre paint model too (they have this service)

Anubis Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 (edited) I can only hope they offer the pre-painted option for Minmay. When someone gives them a kit can they request they try to offer that option for it? , I can already hear many members of these boards foaming at the mouth to get one of these. Yes I am. jardann Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 I gotta put my $.02 in. That is a fantastic scratchbuild. Heck, it would be fantastic if it was straight from a kit, but you have gone all out on that figure and made a masterpiece. It's probably my favorite interpretation of Minmay! You obviously have some incredible skills. Maybe you should look into producing some of your own original kits!. Thanks for sharing your work. It is inspiring.
Anubis Posted November 10, 2004 Posted November 10, 2004 Just saw your Ishtar from your site. Awesome job there too, Ryuji!

Anubis Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 Those eyes are above and beyond on Ryuji's part. I'd be happy with regular eyes on that sculpt.

It will cost US$60,00 (including shipping tax to you) and I accept Paypal. You can request to Hobbyfan to send directly to me - you will save shipping cost Hobbyfan to you - you to me . I live in Sao Paulo - Brazil.
polidread Posted December 28, 2004 Posted December 28, 2004 wow, isnt that fast? Ryuji, Ive noticed that youve given the standing Minmay a few wire joints that enable her to sit in position and then re-putty and then recasted nice quick technique
mbs357 Posted December 28, 2004 Posted December 28, 2004 You are my hero. \o/ I am just saddened that I won't be able to afford them. =(

Ryuji Posted January 5, 2005 Author Posted January 5, 2005 Making the second part of skirt with a plastic sheet.
promethuem5 Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 Its quite impressive how you anage to just whip up his stuff from random bits and how you manage to get the dresses and such so good when you put on your initial puttying so sloppily, not that its you, its just not a very precise maneuver....keep it up.
baxojayz Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 I love it already, Ryuji! How soon can I pre-order one?
peter Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 Damn that looks pretty promising. Wish I still had money to throw away.

bhop Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 What kind of polyester putty is that? I use Tamiya, and it's green, not grey, so I assume you're using something different? .. I don't really like the Tamiya putty and wanted to try a different brand.
