Thanks for the info. I totally missed the OP with them. I'll start to check from time to time to see if I can get one. At the time I checked they were already sold out at Hobby Genki

What are the chances of Bandai bringing this scheme to the DX line? I'm not a big fan of non-animated VF variants but I'd totally jump in for this one.

Holly. Not only having 6 Angel Birds but extra Max and Milia for the super parts. Or are those custom painted?
-
Wouldn't be surprised if Bandai pulls a Alaska Base VF-1A or a VF-X out from the hat. I would ask Bandai for a 100% TV accurate TEST VF-X tho. LOL

This is what keeps me off from bitting the bullet with them. Angel Birds is not a really must get to me. If I can grab one at mandarake I'd be happy.

Weird. Have somebody noticed Bandai threw in DYRL fix posed hands? Edit: Never mind. All TV series released so far have them.

Are those custom pilot figures?

Design wise it is probably the best Yamato era toy. The only thing it misses is on the size of the horizontal stabilizers. If it is equiped with the booster it is pretty much perfect.
-
By the way. I just noticed that the release will include gun pod. Being part of an acrobatic team is it supposed to be armed? In the very few frames in the anime I can't see any equiped with gunpods. Is there any officially info about this VF-1 being armed?

That part of "open the air brake" to star transforming to gerwalk will always crack me up.

Pic came from here https://macrossworld.com/macross/toys/yamato_vf1/comparison.htm I was looking for it for some time. I had it in an old drive I couldn't access any more. Wanted to recreat it with the new DD Focker and old Yamato V.1. but I don know what other old model I could use. Yamato 1/48 and 1/60 V.2. are still very good toys in comparison.

I still have all my Yamatos V.1. The first release of the VF-1S was my first Macross toy. If I'm not wrong I got it form Kevin Lam at Valkyrie-Exchange. I'm only missing the Toys R Us exclusive VF-1A CF and the VF-1J GBP bundle. The good old dayof the V.1's

Could this world wide release policy help with the costumer service for product defective/replacement? I know some times brands only have these serices for domestic market and in a very few instances for over seas.
-
Woah! That VF 1J GBP is a Yamato V1. Haven't seen of those in a while. Besides mine of course.

VF 0S box has the window on the back side and a full illustration on the front

If it was listed as broken or something in those lines you might want to check the fuel tanks on the top of the fuselage. It seems to be one of the pegs.

Nice. I hope this time I can land a PO at HLJ. Totally missed the Hikaru Super TV VF-1S.
