Holy. I'm definitely in for Kaki, Max and that GBP revival. I still have to pick up my VF 0S from the post office to inspect it. Since this will be my very first Hi Metal toy I want to see if the line fills me I don't really like small scale figures. But as my collection is growing it could be nice to add small missing figures from other lines like that VF-0D and the Max's and Kakizaki's VF-1

It would be nice to have downsized payload for battroid mode to improve a bit the possibility. Like those that Revoltech did long ago.

It is only 3 sets of wings. The short ones for battroid, and the 2 for fighter, one with pylons and the other without pylons. Out of the box the figure has non installed.

That back drop looks very sick. I might have it framed once I get mine. Out of Valkyries I don't have any art or other stuff around the house.

Yep those are fuel tanks. I knew I read it some where This from the Macross Mecha Manual In the final episode Shin ejects all missile pods, the booster and you can see how those tanks get ejected too

To tell the truth, IMO, the adapter is quite odd or horrible if the hole can't be used for something else. I haven't seen the adapter for the Arcadia VF-0 but even Yamato have a prettier solution.

Aren't those things just conformal fuel tanks? Maybe is just a gimmick. But there is a mysterious hole near the leg intake.

Nope. Just regular releases. And only the original release came with fast packs. If you wanted fast packs for the 21 you had to hunt down the fold booster bundle with pack for both 19 and 21.

You either have a slim and aerodynamic fighter with a skinny batroid mode or a well proportionated batroid mode with an absolute chunk of fighter mode. I wouldn't be too picky. The 21 by far, might, gotta be the most anime magic affected valk.
